Good point Matt, I went with the dealer recommendation for a dent in my hood and they did a fantastic job with the sheetmetal AND paint. In fact, the hood IS the best part of the car now! It wasn't cheap but the result made it worth every penny... |

Take it to Macco Joking aside. Call you local dealer and ask them who they use and take your car there. If you plan on selling it later, it's better for the resale value. |

You have to remember, these aren't really "cars" after all, they're TROPHIES! I was touching up a little rock chip on the front and well, everytime I got the magnifying glass out I could see a teensy weensy blend line (only with certian light & angles of course).....sooo to get that really, really, really, really perfect match...well>

Iam considering having part of the front end of my 328 resprayed the original color rosso Corso. From other posts it seems like a respray is a fairly routine procedure like detailing which some owners have done every other year or so. Other posts say that a repaint is a very expensive procedure. Can someone enlighten me about a respray of the nose and maybe a front fender. What is involved by way of prep, how successfull is the color match likely to be, cost and what is involved in a first rate job. Thanks. |
