Don't know too much about the Spyker other than I watched it race at 12 Hours / Sebring last year -- unfortunately it didn't do very well -- think it crashed early on also. |

Thought you guys, and girls, might find this car interesting. Really nice and well engineered. I talked to the owner of the company, nice guy and very involved in the development of his car. Not sure where all his money comes from, but he has owned quite a few cars and decided a few years ago to build his own. In case you don't know it is a Spyker and is made in Holland. Check out there web site at www.spykercars.com. By the way, this car is powered by a 400+ HP Audi, it also looks a lot better in the flesh.

I bet that the carpet in the ballroom costs $50 dollars a yard. Imaging the oil spots left on that!!! |

The oil spot on the floor means it's an original. |

Thanks Terry- I liked how you included pics of the placards for the cars- good reading. I believe the blue California Spyder was featured on Speedvision's show "Dream Car Garage" a few weeks ago. If you haven't seen the show they restore a car (always Detroit muscle car). They have a segment where they drive a classic restored car. The Cali was the second Ferrari I've seen on there. The host stated the restoration was flawless and gave its value as $1M and "worth every penny". The other episode had a 275 GTB on it - had some great film of the car. |

The '57 Ferrari 500 TRC is the best- someone posted a picture of one but it was red and cream- red and black is definitely a better combination, this car looks sweeeeeeeet... Thanks for sharing- awesome pictures... |

No, it is usually held on the golf course, the rain altered that. But they did the best they could with a bad situation. They used the parking garage, the ball room, tents, and whatever else they could find. |

Call me crazy but I really like that yellow and black one. When I first saw it on the cover of Forza I wasn't too wild about it. But when I read the article and really started to look at it I really liked it. It wouldn't be my first choice for a vintage Ferrari but compared to some of the old Inter cars and models like that I think this one looks the best. |

Is the Amelia Island Concours held in a Parking Garage?? Not exactly the same atmosphere as Monterey, or Cavallino. Amazing cars! I remember seeing the Zagato bodied 250GT at the FCA Nationals in Las Angeles last year. Absolutely beautiful. |

I was privileged to drive the Zagato bodied car to a Rodeo Drive event several years ago. Very unique car. Spectacular to drive! |

Way cool. They should have started those Chaparrals up. That would have rocked the room. |

This was interesting, the guy who owns this car now, first saw it when he was 16 in a Road & Track magazine.

I thought those were 275's too. The level of restoration on those cars is a site to see I'm sure. The 275 is definitely a work of art. |

Terry, thanks for sharing! By the way, the two red "250 GTs" are actually a 275 GTB (left) and a 275 GTB/4 (right). |

These two 275GTB's were setting side by side. The first one is a steel body, the second is an aluminum body.
This is the engine in the aluminum body car.

The show was nice in spite of the rain. Because of the rain, they had to move everything inside, so it made it difficult to get good pictures. Hope you enjoy.
