actually, I would not recommend using
the "off" switch, because after turning
it back on, you have to idle the car for
~10 minutes so it can re-program the ECUs...

AL,
I agree with Tom. Use a battery tender, they work great and their so small you can mount them in the car by the battery and when you are not using the car, you just plug it in.
the battery switch is good to if you don`t mind losing your radio memory.

Best regards, and hi tom.

Is this "off knob" also on a 348......is this the knob that turns of the "ground connection" I have a ground connection knob that is "on" or "off" I'm wondering if that's what you're referring to.??????

as i recently discovered you can actually turn the battery off with the knob under the hood above the right front wheel well...

some claim the car can sit up to 6 months with no problems.

I would use the Battery Tender for this but they don't come with a lighter adaptor. When I sell one and they want a lighter adaptor I just make one up for them.

I have searched the archives and am a little confused. Is the a good trickle charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter? I want a charger that stops charging when the battery is charged and I can plug into the lighter. Thanks.
