Last weekend we met at my place: John Beaucher (Whom I'd met individually earlier) Bill Henderson (met again - See Mr Doody's post for 1st time. Steven R. Rochelin - 1st time. We had a great evening talking cars, food & drink, & then watching the F1 race. I also think I sort of met Ric Rainbolt in FoD about 3 years ago. I dropped into the service manager's office looking for a key blank. Spent a half-hour talking to the manager & another customer. Later I saw Ric's picture & am pretty sure he was the other customer. At that time, I we were both FerrariListers & the chat was just getting started. I'd only had my car for a few months. |

I have yet to meet anyone. There is one guy in town with a TR I spoke to on here but I never ran into him. Not to many Ferrari's in Pensacola. I'm going to try to go to New Orleans for Johns big party in October. Looking forward to meeting all of you. |

If they're blind, how do they read FC ? And how do they drive a Ferrari anyway ? Shouldn't you use the term "sight impaired" instead of blind ! |

Paul Sloan, (became a dear friend) Tino in LA (very nice guy, had a great time and thanks for the help) Mark (Study), also became a dear friend Ross Koller came by to say hi a few months ago, great guy, so is his dad. William of course, also a dear friend who scares the pants of you the way he drives the heavy TR Ernesto, ghee, we did not have enough time, see you in March for the dinner. Paul Bianco, although we met before through club events, so was Hartmut. Byron, who not just became a customer but also a friend. What a shame we are on opposit coasts. Who am I forgetting? It is always great to meet up with chatters. It puts a face to the funny posts. Also great to see pictures if you do not have a chance to meet in person. TomD, this year we will make it. I promiss I will not kidnap you |

A number of left coast guys: Matt Lemus, Rob Garven, James Selevan from that weird place on the southwest coast. Martin Weiner, Dave Handa, Peter ("I've taken a picture of everything") Rychel and a few others from the Great NorthWest. Dave Goldman, Wade Nunez from New Orleans. Also, I've met a lot of guys from FerrariList, including a lot of the above as well as some really great guys in Arizona and elsewhere. Generally, if they will answer a general request like: "I'll be in Minneapolis Tuesday, anybody for lunch?", you will meet some really nice people. |

I was within one mile of everyone at the Greenwich concours last year, but couldn't make it because of my outbound flight. I did get drunk with one of the organizers Saturday night. I had been partying with the wedding party all day and met an artist who said he was orgnaizing it from Wichita, KS. Well anyway, he partied with us all night Saturday. Forgot his name, but someone will remember. |

I have met Amar from London and Ton from Belgium. Met Amar at the F1 presentation in Maranello this year and Ton here in Bonn, Germany for a small meet. We took both cars out for a spin! It was great to meet some people you are actually chatting with quite often and both time was great fun! Really looking forward to our european Ferrarichat Track Meeting at the Nürburgring this June to put even more faces to names. Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller |

I as well as Jordan- Have met quite a few guys from F-chat S.Ca. It is very funny when you imagine someone and then actually meet them. Very different. The two most different are FatBilly Bob, and L Wayne. Very different from what I expected. I have met over 10 people from f-chat and all of them were exceptional people. I would recommend to everyone to be very prudent about who you meet on this site. I have been very lucky, I hope everybody gets the chance to meet the same caliber of people that I have. JLM |

So far I've met three guys (Jack, Bob and Jay) through FChat and have to say it is quite a cool community. Always funny when you meet somebody in 'real life' after having 'met' them on this board. In April I'll meet Anthony, do you think I should beware of this crazy British axe murderer? Anyway, what are your experiences with having met somebody from this board? PS: Many thanks to Rob for this great forum. It really changed the experience for me of owning a F car. |
