Thanks for the pictures. I was driving the F40 pictured. No it doesn't really compare to the Porsche 962C but the F40 is still a great car and my favorite Ferrari. I drive it on the street and the track regularly.

Keep in mind that the 962 is 2000 lbs, with 750 HP and is a full ground effects car and is fully raced sorted and vintaged raced at most major tracks in the US. It's as fast and sometimes faster (times and speed --e.g. Daytona 1:42-1:44/laps and 198+ MPH) than current ALMS cars which don't have the same power or aerodynamics.

The F40 is almost stock--except for no muffler and use of slicks and additional brake ducting on the track. It's heavier although it still has awesome power and works well overall.

Welcome Joseph.

Nice F-40

Are you affiliated with a digital animation company? I do not want to post the name of the company. If you are, I met you back in 2000/2001.

As I said, welcome.

I took about 200 pictures at the Ferrari Challenge races on Sunday, I just thought I'd share them with you.

**PLEASE** save my bandwidth. Don't link the pictures to other web sites- Save them to your own web server instead. Thanks!

Pictures here:

If anyone would like a full-resolution (2560x1920, 1.7mb) version of any of the pictures, please email me (specifying the picture number).
