There are many differences, the headlamps previously mentioned being one of them. Shortly after the conversion of all cars to pop-ups, a silver painted band was used across the headlamps and nose to simulate the plexiglass plate. That gave way to body-color paint shortly thereafter. 1. USA cars have serial number pad over the steering column. 2. USA cars have Dinoplex ignition boxes on inner fenders. 3. USA cars have side marker lamps on rear quarters. 4. USA cars have A.I.R. pump and related boss on left bank intake cam cover. 5. USA cars have different switches on dash for hazard lamps. 6. USA cars have different exhaust with rubber donut hangers and three bolt interconnection flanges. 7. USA cars have six-lobe distributor cams with one set main ignition points and one set retard ignition points per distributor, plus switch for retard points on right bank intake cam cover. There are many more subtle differences, but I think you get the idea. |

Euro versions also came with the pop up headlights after the Plexi series stopped being produced.I dont think Ferrari could afford to build both kind. |

What are the differences (visual and otherwise) between a Euro spec Daytona vs. a U.S. spec Daytona? Thanks in advance for the information. Fernando |
