I put a chip from AutoSport Design and it helped low end along with a Tubi and test pipes. I just ordered the GruppM intake and will report when I put it on. It is expensive and have heard good things about it, so we will see. Power comes on in the high rpm range on 355's If you are shifting at 5500rpm you are not really in the power band yet. Try going down a very tight twisty road and keep the rpms between 6-8500 rpm and you will be amazed at the cars power, handling and braking. I had a modified Viper Coupe which had gobs of low end but was not as much fun as the Ferrari on a tight road when you are really pushing it |

If you really want the power, you have to use forced induction, plain and simple. |

Try the Tubi solo; Franc at Tubi can get you one. Gives the car the scream of a mid-'70s Cosworth F/1 car. |

I have video of a 355 hitting 179mph,radar verified. As for modifying the car, nothing is ever fast enough. I asked my wife if she wanted to drive a Viper and she said no. I would of modded that too! Hmmm, maybe a 100 shot of nos is what a 355 needs! |

Sorry, Mitch, although Ferrari claims (for some reason) 183mph, the 355 is rev limited to around 173 at 8,500rpm in 6th. Still, who goes that fast on a daily basis? |

Unless you're talking about a '95, chips aren't going to help you, see, OBD II. Why test pipes? I put "solo-tubo" Tubis on my 355s, and you couldn't ask for more scream than that. If you're so disappointed in the power, why buy the car? Sure that the cars you've driven are representative? These are razor sharp road scalpels, not a mallet like the Viper. |

Why get a F355 if you are disapointed with the power? Sounds like what you want is a Viper. Ask yourself the following questions: Why do you need a car faster than 4.5 sec 0-60? Why do you need a car faster than 12.7 sec 1/4 mile? Why do you need a car faster than 183 MPH? If you really do need something faster, perhaps you should look elsewhere?!?! |

Well, if you believe the Honda guys then add a bunch of stickers! Just kidding, the freer flowing exhaust will help. I wouldn't mess with a chip though, I don't trust it. |

Im getting a 355, and from the ones ive driven, i was very disappointed in the power. My 1992 348Ts seems to have more torque down low than they do, although the 355 pulls harder up top. Do the chips make any difference? Which one is best? Also i will do Tubi exhaust and test pipes. Then maybe ill get a Challange spoiler and some of the Hamann sideskirts. Are there any other mods? |
