Carmine, That sounds like the guy I saw. He had a biz modifying motorctcles. He did not tell me yellow was the not the original color, however, it was obviously repained and poorly. The car was poorly repaired and was obviously still crooked from the crash. In the shape the car was in when I saw it, I think it was a parts car probably worth less than 20K. Dave |

I spoke to the owner today. The car has been sitting for the last 8 years. The guy claims to be a collector whose interest shifted from cars to motorcycles. The cam belts have never been changed. The car was in a rear end collision; $8K in repairs. It was originally red, and it was painted yellow at time of repairs. |

33k is just the starting bid highly doubt it'll sell under 40k even if it needs a major |

33K !!!!!!!!!! If this is true 328 have dropped off the earth. I'd be surprised to get it for that unless it was not a nice car. Belt service should only cost 1500-2k, so your talking 35 grand? Wow. |

I emailed the guy twice for info. No response. And also no bids on the car either. How do people expect to sell something if they are not responding to questions? my

I looked at this car last June while on a trip to California. The car had been wrecked really bad, poorly repaired and then stored for about 10 years. The owner was very upfront about the damage and said he planned to redo it to concours standards. Don't know if it's the same seller, but that's the history. Supposedly there are only 4 yellow GTB's in the US. Dave |

33k is fair for the car considering it is going to need a major. |

I was looking at it too. I e-mailed the guy asking for more information and he never e-mailed back, so i have my doubts on it. Apart from looking nice from the one small picture, I also dont like the fact that it has just been sitting. Im also not sure if the yellow color would have been original. |

Would $33k be all the money assuming it needed a major service? I don't like the idea that it "has just been sitting". Could leak like a sieve... Crawford |
