Way back when I was high school, some local guy had a 250 LM and a competition Daytona that he took out from time to time. What a thrill to see an LM drive by. I never did find out where he lived or what other cars he may have owned. Unfortunately those days are gone. |

I see Ferraris every weekend here in San Diego, its usually valet parked in downtown clubs, & restaurants. But one time I saw two F355, a 348 and a 512TR driving together in La Jolla. Wow I just love when when a stable of fast horses are together. |

Every now and then I would see a red 308 go down my street but I could not figure out where he lived. Yesterday I was driving down the street and saw it parked in front of his house. It is only about 10 houses down from mine. I stopped to talk to him and we had a good chat. He told me he sees me and better yet hears me going down the street from time to time. I thought it was cool a Ferrari guy was so close and I didn't even know it. |

I met another 348 owner this weekend at Orchard Supply close to where I live. My 348 was parked, in the no dent zone, a.k.a. at the farthest end of the parking lot. When I came out of the store I noticed a guy looking at my car. As I was walking towards my car I saw a red 348. He asked me if that, meaning the black one, was mine which I replied yes. We ended up talking for about 15-20 minutes. He did not know about this site. He knows now. He will also try to make it to Carmel this weekend. It's fun when you happen upon other Ferrari owners by accident. Hopefully there is no accident when you meet other Ferrari owners, if you know what I mean! Dan |

Ya, I always wave to other Ferrari drivers They almost always wave back if they see me. You see quite a bit of Ferraris in the bay area. At least 1 per week, depends where you are driving. I drive mine everyday around town, so people probably are sick of seeing mine :P Jaymus |

You have to admit the Ferrari horn has a sound all it's own, so other owners usually look around when they hear it. I hardly ever met another Ferrari when I'm driving mine...only when I drive to La Jolla |

I did that once, honked my horn at another Ferrari, at least I was driving mine J. It was a TR owned by a woman who lives not that far from me (though, I have yet to meet her face-to face). She was heading in the opposite direction, I honked and she waved back. Neat. I did it another time to a guy in a 355 Spyder, but he was too bewildered by the honking and did nothing in return. Oh well. |

Well first you have to understand the area in which I live. East San Diego, El Cajon. Mostly large American made trucks, so to see a Ferrari, ANY Ferrari is rare. Today as I turned onto the street coming from my house I see a yellow/black 355 spider. Man!! Wouldn't you know it, I was driving my Toyota truck and not the 308. Somehow I didn't feel right tooting my horn at him in the truck...I do, however, have an FCA sticker on the windshield |
