robert knows how they work - listen to him cause i would have said the exact same thing - most cars you call about they will say are sold - they dont mention that it was 3 years ago -check the ferrari market letter and ferrari NA and the dupont registry. you can tell how much a certain type of car is worth. Now if you owned a car that you wanted to sell and everyone else was asking 150k for it why would u sell it 4 110K -- think -- i dont think much of these type of so called dealerships like exotics 4 less

Its real simple when buying any exotic. Focus on privately owned vehicles with verifiable histories. Maintenance from an "authorized dealer" is not not always that great. Generally the best is from private enthusiast owned facilities who are local to your cars location. Id say dealer maint is a second best. Never buy from a dealer if you can. You will pay more unless its the best car for the price avail to you. Good luck...Dave

Scott,
Exotics4less.com lists every car they ever worked with (even if it was sold 2 years ago!). Very misleading.

Their job is to scour the country for the cars for sale by private parties and non Ferrari NA dealers. They'll report to you what's out there. If you have an interest in a car, they'll arrange for an inspection, at your cost. If you buy it, they get a fixed fee.

I know you've been searching hard for your car, so you're probably already searching 80% of the resources they use themselves.

I have heard nothing but bad things. I have a friend who recently purchased a 360 from Ferrari of Houston. He was talking to Exotic Cars Wholesale in Florida. They have a list of individuals who will sell their car for the right price. ECW does not have these cars, nor do they know how they are treated by the owner. Most Ferrari dealers will tell you to avoid any ar in Florida except Shelton Ferrari. Good Luck.

I don't have too much experience with buying a Ferrari but from what I can tell is that it is important to get it from a local dealer that might be able to service it or that might have a warantee. I know of a discountsportcars.com that might have some nice 355s. Are you getting a TB or a Spider?

Hi all. In my search for a 355, I followed a link posted by another chat member to this business (www.exotics4less.com). They have an extensive "listed" inventory of 355's. However, my conversations with them have been less than ideal. Does anyone have any direct experience with them?

TIA Scott Collins
