No major problems.Engine/transmision/brakes all 100%. Original paint/trim near perfect. New 328 clutch. Heater fan motor brackets broken. Had to bi-pass the 2 radiator cooling fan circuit breakers and install seperate fuse box. Still running the original TRX tyres which are starting to get cracked with age. Soon to get some 16" wheels. Will need to change a lot of the rubber hoses on the car. This car sat unused for a long time and most of the small problems are associated with lack of use.

Had some clutch problems but resolved now. Car is running great. A/C is working perfect, shifts smoothly, corners and above 100 mph (Oops) are a dream.

The 8 cylinder needs higher rpm compared to the 12 but because parts are much cheaper is perfect as a daily driver. I would either recommend a Mondial if you need a daily driver or a TR if you are a weekend driver. 308/328 or 348 just don't offer enough advantages to the Mondial and are much less of a sports car compared to the TR. Sorry guys but that's just my 2 cents (308/328 and 348 look great though). Click on profile to see me (left) cleaning the TR.

I am thinking about acquiring 308/328 or maybe a Mondial. Any opinions as to what years to avoid or which models hold value better? 308/328 vs. Mondial? I get the feeling that Mondials are not really sought after, but I could be wrong. Thoughts on this?

When I first got the car, I noticed the ducting was disconnected behind the A/C vents sending the air down by the legs.... the fan blew like crazy and the air was ice cold. I re-connected the duct to the vents... but I'd guess the vents restricted the airflow by 50%! So off came the duct and I've got great A/C once again (and I live in Dallas!).

Other than that, I've had zero problems with the car in almost 3 years. It's been in the shop twice for oil changes.

Car feels perfect now, but only after a fairly painful 2 month initiation. Redo 30k, water pump, starter, electrical connections... I too love it. (The car... I think)

Everything has gone wrong with this car. However, I love it (the car).

My biggest issue was, like most 348 owners that I have corresponded with, is the check engine light. Ground straps from oxygen sensors to the transmission seemed to solve this problem.

I've owned the car for one year. It has spent more time in the shop than in my garage. After $18,000.00 I believe I have finially got all the issues fixed.

Two problems: passenger door would not open from outside and engine was making a slight noise - all valve lifters were replaced. It was working perfectly though.

Always worry that something will break at an inconvenient place and time. Have always made it home, though!
Need to fix some minor oil leaks and re-paint the wheels.

OK, Time for a quick survey.

Year, Model, Current mileage and a percent reliability factor based on breakdowns or otherwise out-of-service problems not considering scheduled/routine maint. And... single biggest problem.
