Tom, Boot is English for trunk not truck. I believe lorry is the English term for truck.

ok, same site again (it took for ever for this picture to load up), i don't know if their pic is misplaced or the ad is miswritten, or in fact it could be true but this barchetta is going for $150k and it also has 0 miles.
the only downside is that it is currently residing in the middle east (downtown baghdad perhaps?) and would obviously have to be shipped and possibly converted. but what a price !!!!!

There is a cheaper 550 Barchetta in my neighbourhood.

http://www.mobile.de/cgi-bin/search.pl?CountOff=4&DataNr=2&DisplayDetail=11111111117562881

Only 222.000 Euro, nearly 220.000 $.

P.S.: This guy also sells a 288 GTO for 290.000 Euro, if anyone is interested.

not suprised, both Talacrest and Maranello sales had them hanging around for ages last year with delivery mileage only, just couldn't shift em. The former even had a craftsman tailor a bespoke hood in an attempt to broaden its useability and potential buying audience.

But then I guess they would be more of a problem over here what with UK predominant weather

$280k for a 550 barchetta?! That's less than what they sold for new. At first i thought it was a euro model, but it isnt advertised as one. These things were over $400k last year.
