I hate the word Migrate as I am a database consultant and I travel to our clients to Migrate their databases. Pavlovian word association..

migrate = late nights, stress, frustration

Superb. Thanks for the update, and look forward to the changes. We will still have to find a way to get "some" of that buying guide information up on the site (even if its a summary) -- excellent write ups.

Regards.

As long as the FAQs cover wax and floor mats, we'll be all set.

FAQ - yes, 1 - no because of legal issues, 2-3 yes, 4 - maybe.

Waiting for the new software to be realised (est 1-2 months). Then it will take about a month for me to rebuild and have a few users test. Then we'll go about a month with both boards. Then will just have the new board, and the current board will go in with the archives like expensivecar.com.

Much planned, just in a holding pattern and need free time.

Hey Rob,

Love F-Chat, but wanted to ask if the idea of creating an F-Chat FAQ has been kicked around. I think it would be an amazing resource. Just looking at the current threads suggests that we could fill it with:

(1) Scanned versions of FORZA's buyers guides
(2) Review of cross-country transporters
(3) Common problems and "watch items" for each model (including differences between years, such as for the '95 355 versus subsequent-year 355's)
(4) A whole host of other items.

Although I'm not very tech-savvy, I'd be happy to assist you in managing the "content" part of this FAQ. Thoughts?

Also, I know you had indicated we would be moving to a new standard for the chat-forum, which is more technologically robust, and more functionally flexible. What is your sense on when we would migrate to this platform/standard?

Thanks for continuing to allow such a great site to exist!!

Regards.
