More of a tinny, metal on metal sound. I've heard other 355's do it but not quite so bad. Mechanic says its normal even though its loud enough to send shivers down my spine.. |

Can you describe the clanging in more detail? Does it happen while turning, how many clangs per bump, etc. Is it a deep thump (shock problem) or is it a tinny sound? See your mechanic if in serious doubt. Al. |

Hi there, Just got back from a nice ride in the car so I might start rambling on a bit ;) Basically I'm a bit worried about the suspension clanging noises when driven over the rough stuff. I'm finding that I need to constantly weave in and around all sorts of crap on the roads. My car is a 95 F355 and so is a lot harder and lower than the '97 and newer cars. Question is: does this knocking/clanging of the suspension cause any major problems ? Cheers, Mark PS. Cement is a goddam lousy road surface. PPS. Tony can we swap cars for a week ;) |
