I am not one to keep long term grudges, but I do expect basic human respect as any person should.

Last week Bruce and I did agree to let it go. He even called me a gentleman.

Happy motoring!

"I value my reparation."

Reparations are sums paid for some previous offense, real or imagined. "Jesse Jackson demanded Congress pay reparations to all descendants of the slaves"

Reputation is what you mean."Joan Jett didn't give a damn about her bad reputation."

Dave,
I was the one who said, "An eye for an eye is not the answer"...IMHO, you are taking Bruce WAY too literal...if he comes off brash, it's all in fun and a goof...If you called him right now b/c you were stuck in a ditch, didn't know anyone for miles that could help, before you finished talking he would hang up on you and be on his way to help you with an "S" on his chest and cape on his back...

I don't mean to sound condescending yet even if you did misunderstand him go to the book of the Lord...Matthew 5:38 it puts righteousness in perspective by basically saying an eye for an eye is not the answer and if someone were to strike your right cheek, turn to him your other cheek.

Believe me...I am not trying to sound like a religious nutball but it has really helped me strenghthen my soul/spirit (of which is the only thing that will be left when we leave this dump)...i just wish you to share the same inner peace as well as everyone else on this board.

My apologies if I offended anyone or if this went a little too deep for some.

Cheers and be happy!

Peter: We wouldn't start one of those threads. You'd only buy 4 GT4s with your $100,000. <g>

Ah dang, I thought this was one of those threads: "If you had $100,000, what cars would you fill your garage with?...".

Hmmmm,

I do not want to get involved with this, but I must say that I think we all need to sit back and give Dave a break. While I do not agree with him creating this thread, and I do not know Bruce (and BTW wish him all the best with his health, etc.) there is two sides to every story.

Reading http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/21/147821.html
it does appear that Dave was been treated unfairly in my opinion ... and while may be this was supposed to be some sort of joke, it has missed the mark and upset somebody and snow balled from there (?).

So in the end I think we should all stop taking sides and leave this alone, and hope that one day Dave, Bruce and Terry can actually meet and have a good laugh over a beer.

PLUS we all need to remember that the written word can be harsher than intended (maybe be a little more careful on what we write ... :-) ), and to grow a thicker skin and laugh at oneself every now and then :-) :-)

Cheers to all
Pete

I thought we had heard the last on this. To clarify I never said you had made a commitment to buy any car, I only stated that I recieved two phone calls from dealers asking if I could vouch for you because you had not made good on an appointment. End of the subject.

Anyone that feels that my love of Ferrari cars is suspect please read this thread.
http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/21/26511.html

I have only offered advice and shared experiences here. Search the forum! I really enjoy the forum and learn a lot here, but I am tiring of this. I tried to keep my experience with you private, and you publicly slammed me on the "BRUCE WELLINGTON" thread.
I have never tried to sell anyone on Ferrari Chat or the Ferrari Club anything. I do not own a Jewelry company, although I am employed by an award recognition company where I do design work for different companies. I am not a salesman nor do I have any shares in the company, I am only a mere employee. The company headquarters is in Michigan, I am not.

Again I ask that you take this off the forum and contact me privately if you still have issues with me.

Keep the dream alive and let your dim light shine Dave......good job Upload

Bruce is nothing but a honest and true man. If you read into something that was "implied" then it is your fault.

If anyone should be sued it is you for libel and slander.

Look the words up in a dictonary if you do not understand them.

Whatever is going on here, I just hope that everyone can handle it with maturity and restraint.

Best of luck,

On what grounds could a serious lawsuit be brought...? Ok, this whole thing i obviously none of my business so maybe i should butt out... On that note, as a FerrariChat.com member, i'll utilize my duty to throw an Off Topic flag on this... Where's "The Don" with his sirens when you need him...?

I have not been on lately due to harassment. However, some comments are in order. As a creative person I am normally non-judgmental, but I do expect to be treated with honesty plus basic human dignity and respect.

I will rarely post comments on ferrarichat, but will monitor every month or two for information I can use. After all, my main interest is in driving.

Bruce and Terry D. have implied that I have entered into agreements in Arizona to purchase Ferraris and then not lived up to the agreements. This is not true and I value my reparation. I know of no one in the automobile business that does not use written agreements and who does not require a deposit.

Therefore, I offer $100,000.00 cash to anyone who can provide verifiable written proof that I or any company I control entered into any agreement to buy a used Ferrari in Arizona before todays date. All they have to do is post a verifiable copy of the written documents to ferrarichat and email a copy of the veritable written documents to me at [email protected].

It has been implied that Bruce can make it easier for me to buy Ferraris. When I came to Princeton, NJ a half year ago, I had planned on buying a Ferrari locally within 30 days. Also wanted to learn more about what to look for and avoid plus learn more about other Ferraris like the 12s so I could consider them for my 2nd or 3rd Ferrari. Plus I just wanted to talk to and enjoy the company of other Ferrari lovers. At the time, it was important to me. Since Bruce and his cronies blacklisted me, I went outside of the region to buy my first Ferrari. I might see other Ferrari lovers in the area or see them at events (I am a people lover), but I doubt that I will ever buy a Ferrari or spend money on maintenance in the NY, NJ, PA, or surrounding states. One day I might visit the dealer in Philly (an hour away) or the one I think in NY or CT. However, since I will not buy anything, it is a 3 or 4 priority and I have not visited them although I go to Philly often.

On Terry, I suspect that his love for Ferraris comes, not from true love, but for what Ferrari owners can do for him. For example, Terry tried to sell me some jewelry. Apparently he has his own company where he sells jewelry that he has been paid to design as an employee for others.

It has been suggested that I sue Terry and Bruce. It is under consideration, but not decided.

An eye for an eye? Generally I do not agree with that. However, everyone has limits. If one goes beyond my limits, then I fight back very hard.

It has been suggested that Bruce and I could become friends. One only has time for a limited number of close or true friends. Why should I replace a good person with a person like Bruce? Initially I felt anger toward Bruce, but I do not keep anger long term. I wish him recovery as a person and a Ferrari lover. However, I do not want him as a part of my life.

Enjoy life!
