Thanks Leonardo. Sounds pretty reasonable.

He?s expecting an F40, and in addition to a Dino and a few Maseratis, was working on a green 275 GTS. Only twenty made?$1.5 million.

Eli, you were right. Vincenzo is really down to earth, and, I think, a straight shooter. What's your usual rate?15%? How about coffee and a muffin one weekend morning instead?

Jeff, I have an '86 328 GTB with 25k. Sorry, I have to update my profile this spring. Total came to $3100 w/ tax. That's about $1000 cheaper than dealer estimates I was getting, which included a winter-only 10% discount.

Sorry, I may have missed this but which Ferrari do you have? What year? How many miles? It's not listed in your profile. Do you mind mentioning the cost?

Just got my car back from Auto Elite today. Vincenzo and his brother Giuseppe were really great to deal with. Had everything done, including water pump rebuild and AC charge, for a very reasonable price. Went for a short drive, but I have such a head cold that another drive will have to wait until the weekend. Car runs great. The bogging was due to poor contact between contact and rotor in the distributor cap. Luckily,a very easy fix.

Thanks all for the great advice.
