Hello Michael,

I purchased a set of sheepskin covers a little over a year ago from www.rmsheepskin.com -- they sent me some color samples first so I could pick the best match. They were a little pricey, but very high quality -- and very comfortable as well. They will raise your seating height just a tad, so this is something to consider. Two downsides: 1) The covers are fastened by the use of elastic straps and metal hooks that attach to the underside of the seat (which can be a pain to install in F-cars due to how low the seat sits on the floor); 2) I never could get my headrests to release in order to detach them, so ended up cutting a small slit into the top of the covers in order to slip them over the headrests. The covers are two pieces -- seat back and seat cushion. Due to the "semi-permanent" nature of the installation, it would be a hassle to remove them for routine leather cleaning / conditioning.

I ended up purchasing a set of original Ferrari tan / logo seatsavers off of eBay -- they were like new. These are nice because they are on piece and simply slip over the entire seat and headrest making it easy to install and remove. You might try searching for "seatsavers".

I've also seen several of the newer style red satin Ferrari logo seat covers on eBay recently which are also easy to put on and take off. They seem to cost about half of what the sheepskin covers will cost you.

With regards to the original leather interior: I went the route that Mike Charness took, and restored (including redye) my 308's interior with Leatherique's products. It looks and smells new again.

In addition to the info. that Dr. Cosgrove may have provided, you might want to check out the new leather seat covers available at:
www.ferraripartsexchange.com

Hope this helps.

I suggest you ask your favorite Ferrari dealer about seat covers. They've got some nice tan water-resistant covers designed for your seats. I leave my driver's seat cover on most of the time.
