If price is why you are going with the vinyl, try SouthBay Leather in San Ysidro Ca. (by San Diego)
they sell nice leather for about $4 a square foot. An average sized hyde is about 50 square feet. Be sure to tell them that you want a soft supple leather, not thick, stiff leather. Tell them you are an upolsterer to get that price, they wont even check, but you'll get the "good guy" price. Good luck. |

Go with triple crushed velvet, maybe a purple color. And definitely get the big dice and those little dangly things around the roof.
If you decide to stay original these guys have okay prices, but if you know of cheaper I'd like to know.

While my Red and black 308 is being serviced over the next two weeks, I want to reupholster the seats and door pannels. The seats and door panels are currently black. I want to do them in tan, maybe with a black stripe. I will leave the console black.
I am hopeful that members who have had different paterns and colors redone on their red 308's will be so kind to send me their pictures ( to [email protected] )so I can get some ideas.
