Finally got my spring work done on the 308 yesterday, took it out for the first time this year. Almost 5 months since the last time I drove it. Damn I missed that car.

You mean the season is here. Unfortunately this means for us south floridians that we have to close the top and have the AC crank, just as I had to do this weekend.

:-(

Yea...thats what it's all about!!! I hit about 180kmh on the 401 today at around 1:30 pm. Traffic was surprizingly light.

Me too. Had to pull the bike out of the way, checked the pressures and after i got it started, rolled slowly for a while until everything warmed up.
The Saw Mill Northbound was suprisingly light of traffic, and rather than wait for the mongrels slogging in the left lane, a quick wrist snap while plunging on the accelerator took me past on the right. I peeled off, onto the Taconic ramp, still going North, a big sweeper, reaching real numbers on and out of the apex, bringing the speed down easily to melt into traffic. The exhaust boomed, gurgled, then cleared its throat as i pressed down, hard, pushing toward the long straight, six lane runway with sight to the horizon. Only one madman in an SUV tried to keep pace, and i swung off an exit ramp, braking late, before i was alone again, on a country road, pointing toward the still frozen resevoirs, feeling the cool air hit my face.

Just got back from a 3 hour cruze in the Ferrari!! Just beautiful to hear and drive her again. After a 5 month wait and a major service, she runs like a dream. Not one hic-up the entire time! I feel so much better now that she is at home in my garage ready to be driven.
