I saw this on TLC or something about the Black Amex and then when I was working at Hugo Boss, this gent bought quite a bit of clothing from me and he pulled out a Black Amex (he was in his mid twenties!)

as far as how he manages to not have to cough up one of these bogus cars when the auctions ended... suppose he comes on as himself on a different ebay name and bids out all the other bidders minutes before the auction ends?

I have a friend who has a friend whose uncle works for the seat supplier for Fiats who owns Ferrari. Because of his close affiliation he can get three "brand new" Enzo's from the factory without going through a dealer. All he needs is a $10K deposit in advance to secure delivery. Only the first three deposits will get cars and the late ones will be returned-trust me! These cars can be bought under market at $1,000,000 each.

I thought about getting one myself but I figure the insurance will be more than I can stand. Does anyone else want to put up the $10K deposit. After all, he promises that he will return all deposits that do not get cars. Oh, by the way, he lives in Yemen and all deposits need to be sent there

HOw about it? Anyone game? I think the E-Bay car has just a good of chance of making it to the eventual buyer. Not!!!!!!!!!!!

I love going into people's feedback history and reading about all the crap they buy. It's pretty entertaining. The Ferrari & Lambo bidders are a particular curiosity...some of these guys buy some weird sh*t.

The Amex Centurion Card charges US$1250.00 in HK. I am not really get use to paying annual fee for the credit card. We do normally have "Welcome gift" when you successfully applied a credit card and the annual fee is either free or waived if you spend a certain amount within the year.

I have one, it is just called the Centurion Card not Corporate Centurion, everything else Alex says is correct. They do not have a corporate version, just one for personal use. I travel a lot, and have saved at least $10K a year by using it for travel.

Jason, the AMEX Black (Corporate Cenutrion) card is an invitation only card that AMEX started about 4 years ago. The selected customers were those who spent at least $150,000 a year on one of their other cards. Perks included flight upgrades (747 to Concorde), guaranteed tables at top restaurants, a personal concierge, etc... Oh yeah, I believe the annual fee is around $1000.

I read his description of the car. I didn't think the Enzo had power windows....(does it even have leather?)

He must have done some aftermarket modifications to it ;-) Oh - so it must be a CUSTOMIZED Enzo! Sign me up!

Jason, pretty much, yeah, that's what it is... Apparently, they only give a few out each year or some crazy crap like that... You need to really be something to get one of those...

What's an AMEX black card? Is it the secret-super-cool international playboy billionare credit card that I only though existed in Bond movies? Seriously, I've never heard of it.

Funny how you can pay for your Murcielago "...instantly with your credit card through Pay Pal." Sure, maybe if you have the AMEX Black Card.

my question to him:

so what is the VIN then? Ebay does not support it, but I do.
Do you own the car and where can I fly into to see it?
I have a buyer for the car and cash in hand!

O and he has a Murcielago...

I guess he's just trying to push these Hummers or something. If someone actually bids and wins what happens when he can't produce the Enzo other than bad feedback?

Saw that. I didn't pay any attention to it after seeing that his big item selling on e-bay was a tip on how to pick up an H2 for $25K.

Boy howdy!! I like that "attracts more attention than my 5 Hummers" and "Ebay would not support the vin number. Sounds like this guy has all the right reasons for "owning" the car, and is certainly telling us the truth about how he's had it for 6 months!! Even before they started production!! Nice

Check out the newest Enzo on Ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2408575325&category=6212

This is his "Friday night" car. He has had it "six months" and if you check his other auction he can get you a new Hummer H2 for 25,000. If I actually did own one of these cars I would post actual garage photos instead of these press pics. How hard would it be to actually sell a Enzo right now if you had one. I thought they were all leased for 2 years or something and then you have the option to buy.
