Hey, Neal! Brian is right, it was me at Lime Rock. A full report on the event will be forthcoming tomorrow, but suffice it to say that it was a lot of fun - and we got even more track time today, as participants were probably about 75% of yesterday's number. No sheetmetal incidents today, though a friend in a silver 308 blew a downshift going into Big Bend, locked up the rears, and spun into the infield (no damage).
I'm back at Lime Rock in one week for a BMW CCA event (with the 355, hopefully), back at Lime Rock on April 25-26 for the Alfa Romeo club event (355), NHIS on May 1st (undecided), and Watkins Glen on May 19-20 for TracQuest (911, unless I can find someway of schlepping slicks out there). But surely I'll see you at the August FCA event at Lime Rock and/or at the FCA WGI event on Labor Day weekend?

i was at limeroc for 1st event of 2003 with the sportscar drivers assoc (scda) and briefly met fellow fchatter driving wife's yellow porsche. i didnt get your name. sorry i couldnt stay around to talk. i had to get an early start home.
was a great day but too many off road excursions in the advanced group. i was in front of the red porsche at the downhill when he spun and saw it in my rear view mirror. scary is understatement as he went around at least 3 times. lucky he didnt flip. and he had an instructor with him too.
i'll be back at limeroc april 11, then to 1st fca event in may at wat glen. cannot wait for that. what are your plans for the 355? hope to see u soon |
