I contacted them on that car Dave; it's a nice 456 with low miles, but Rossa Corsa. I think this car presents better in dark colors or silver. Another great deal for someone. I'm still looking for my Nero 456... This car even has the window campaign taken care of. Someone give this Ferrari a home!

What a stunning car. I have seen one of these in the flesh and they are just beautiful ... funny thing was the one I saw had the passenger window sticking out and it was going to the Ferrari dealer in Sydney.

This would be an awesome car for me in my circumstances with little kids running around my ankles ... but the window problem scares me off, as does the enormous cost :-)

Again awesome car, and even more elegant than the 550 M, and 4 seats!!!

I know a few people who've bought Ferrari's off of e-bay with good success. You just have to contact the owner, and be sure they understand you're not going to hand over a dime until you see the car, and have a PPI done.

A "honest" owner will respect this, and not worry if the car is as good as they say it is on the auction.

I've also seen the same 308qv listed 3-times in the last month and a half. Each time it ends at ~$32K, but the buy-it-now price remains the same at $38,995. You'd think they learn their lesson and lower the buy-it-now price to a number someone with 1/2 a brain would actually pay.

Does anyone else have the same view that i have regarding ebay: that its like a last resort for a car seller. If i was in the position to buy a ferrari i would not look on ebay. I would go to my nearest dealer and get them to search their database.
Anyone agree/disagree?

Here us another one. Saw this the other day and the pictures were there. Website problem I guess. It has fewer miles than the ebay car as well. I have no reason to disbelieve Ferrari of Denver. May have issues though as other cars for sale there have high askling prices.

Uuh? Just checked again and noticed the auction ended. Someone bid $68,100 , while the buy it now price was actually slightly higher, at $70,000. Can't believe you'd pass on the car for that extra 2 grand.
The car was left unsold.

I love it. That color combo is amazing.
The 456 just has so much class. Beautiful, really.

If the car's technically sound, its a steal too.
She's simply gorgeous.... aaahw, can't take my eyes off her.

ps: whats not to love about the six speed manual :-x

Just too many miles, and that glassy looking paint has to be re-done, unless it's just the pictures!! Also, that seatbelt seems very carefully placed on the driver's side bolster, just where you'd look for lots of wear and tear. I dunno, not for me!!

I have a F355 and seriously considered the 456 for 2+2 but really not for me.

Bit more expensive to service and prob harder to sell.

AND NOT SO MUCH FUN

Also I do not have much faith with car prices quoted on Ebay.

If this car was a automatic, I'd buy it in a second. I've been seduced by Storm'n Norms fantastic 550 and now lust for a 12. Simply can't justify another 2 seater in the household to my lovely wife, but she's good with a 4 seater. It would be a terrific way to share the fun. If anyone has a lead on a solid automatic 456, please send me a note! Preferably Nero.
At 70, it think it's a steal.

Yes dramatic color combo. No doubt a THOROUGH PPI would be in order with this price. Says all records. Just thought this was interesting for the crowd to discuss.

I would certainly check for belt service at 35K miles. If it has not been done, it could conceivably cost $5K-$10K. He also states "special ordered 6-speed manual transmission". Excuse me, that was the only gearbox you could get the car in then. The automatic did not come for several years. And "silk Ferrari car cover"? Do you think it could actually be nylon instead of silk? I would have to check for bodywork history also. Lots of questions at that price.

Personally, even at $10k below that price, I still wouldn't buy it. IMHO

Wow !

A V12 GT, for less than a F355, NOw that is a tough decision..
That car is super clean and I love the color combo.. I wouldn't even have to hire a babysitter for the night.. This is great....:-)
