That's OK Peter, Dave! I was there at around 12:10. I just missed you by 20 minutes! Great pics btw Peter! The RX-8 was definitely one of the hits of the show plus the KIA display, if you know what I mean, and I don't mean the cars!  | ||

I would have to add the FX45 to the notable presence. A steal at 59K canadian! The M5 is available at Auto West BMW in Richmond and it's a stunning color combo I must say! | ||

Well, my dad and I went today to the Auto Show...first one I've been to...it was pretty good, spend about 3 and a half hours walking around, we walked straight past the Murcielago...its kinda hidden away in a corner, by the BMW and DaimlerChrysler exhibit... The Aston Martin was a DB7, its just the one that they have at MCL Motor Cars on Burrard, so Id seen it a few times... I had fun, there were some nice cars, ones that stuck out in my head were the Aston Martin DB7, Porsche 911 Targa, a modded Benz SL500, a modded M3, Bentley Arnage T, Porsche Cayenne S, Audi A8L, Jag XJR, Lexus RX330, Acura NSX, BMW M5 (one of my fav. cars ever), BMW 760Li, Dodge Viper SRT-10, the 800mph rocket car deal, and of course, the Murcielago ...it looks a hell of a lot better in person than in pictures...well I just reeled off half the cars there... Only one bad thing...I didnt bring enough film  | ||

I'm definitly going as well. Me and some fellow BMWM5.com members will be attending saturday April 5th. Weissach say on their website that you can order the new Lamborghini's thru them so I'm guessing they are the ones showing it...about time we have a Lambo dealer here in Vancouver! The Vancouver sun also said that Aston Martin and Porsche will be there under the "Personal pleasures pit stop" area. So I'm surprised Ferrari will not be there! | ||

Hi guys, yeah I talked to Stuart over at Brian Jessel's and he confirmed it. The show website also doesn't show a Porsche display which is strange. I have no idea who is showing lamborghini. Me and my friends will be catching the 9:00 ferry so we'll probably be there at 11:00ish I'll fire off an email to you Peter so we can meet up somewhere. | ||

The Automotive Journalists Association of Canada's Auto-Art show will be there somewhere... I have 2 pieces in it this year... its our first year going out west - the display was sponcored by Mercedes-Benz to travel to Calgary and then to Vancouver and back home to Toronto. Nika had a picture of a couple of pieces back in a previous thread. I saw a pic in the Toronto Star of our exhibit in Calgary.. we were set up next to a 360 Spider! Definite plus. (or maybe not... nobody would be lookin at the art...(: ) | ||

It starts this weekend and I'll be there this Sunday March 30. I would love to meet with fellow F-chatters if possible. Infortunately, Ferrari won't have an exhibit there! Lambo will be there though... |
