No one is gonna give me special treatment. If I turn up somewhere in my wooly hat and untidy attire, Im not getting in no matter what I drive. On top of that i drive the dirtiest 360 spider on earth. |

Efwun, This happened on Sunday at a Hotel in Cambridge: I said to the valet attendant Do you know where first gear is?? After 3 attempts he got it right! Poor chap! - He was a little nervous and did not seem that confident! I suggested that I would take it into the parking lot. - He agreed, but insisted on jumping in for the ride!! The car has an anti hijack device on it and unless you know what to do, you would never start it. I was not that wicked to let him try! Paul

heres one i posted about 6 months ago, but worth repeating: on the trip from rome to london we were passing by reims at around lunch time and just wanted a decent meal somewhere. i see a sign advertsing a restaurant and my father looks it up in the michelin guide. just as we pull into the driveway for this little chateau, he finds it in the guide and its one of the top 5 restos in france, very formal, jacket and tie required etc. we are wearing jeans and polos... but we're hungry, so i go up the stairs and am met by a not-to-be-trifled-with maitre d'hotel. i ask if there is a table free. he looks at me and then he looks at the car. then he says, park it right here in front and come on in !! the rest of the customers were surprised at our attire to say the least......i guess the michelin guide should be amended....jacket and tie, or ferrari, your choice. |

Valet parking attendants seem to be very friendly when they see that you drive a F-car!

I usually get to park right up front at a nice resturant. Never the same in my VW. |

It's a shame that people act that way, but it's soo true.. When I was hunting for the right company to have build my home, people would not realy pay any attent to me when I showed up in my Altmia. Pull up in the Lexus and it's a whole different game.. I can only imagine what it would be like with a Ferrari.... |

HELL yes...... Female reaction can vary quite a lot.... thought you were a nice guy, now think you were a poser/gold-chain brigade... OR thought you were an arrogant t*sser and AFTER.. STILL think you're an arrogant t*sser but don't mind sooo much |
