Allan,
The next best thing to taking your Ferrari on an 800 mile drive, is the next day when you walk to your garage and stare at those four round taillights once you open the garage door...

DAMN I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Congrats on the new edition..

Purchased from an individual who owned several (13) various exotics. It is an awesome car, although it needs some more hp.

Congratulations Allan. Did you buy fron a dealer or private owner? Can you tell us the original asking price? Your answers could help us better understand what's happening in today's market.

That is an awesome price, especially compared to Australian prices !

There is a '97 Spyder, 17,000 miles, yellow/black, full service history etc for sale here.. US$155,000 ! That's AU$259,000.

It does have the F1 transmission though. But still I don't know why there is such a huge difference in price between basically identical cars

Well drove the car home about 800 miles and it ran great! So far so good. For those that wondered, it is a flawless 1997 Spyder, 5,000 miles, yellow/black all books and records, 1 owner. MINT. Paid 89,000.
