David, Look at the connectors at the ECU and TDC sensors, and at the battery (battery cables/connection working loose). Hope this helps David,
Leo

Thanks Leo. I will take a look at those areas and keep you posted on my progress.

Mine has done this three times in six months. No pattern. Mine will restart immediately. No idea where to start troubleshooting as heat doesn't seem to be the cause.

Mark, I had a similiar problem and it turned out to be the wire from the fuel pump to the fuse box. As the trunk would heat up the "pinch type" connector on the fusebox would open slightly and disconnect from the fusebox. The signs of this would be discoloration on the connector housing, as the connector would arc to the fusebox spade. I would check the fusebox area first and then the fuel pump connections/ground underneath the car.
Good luck,
Leo

I spent the last few weeks t-shooting a problem on my 85 308QV. I just had a 30K service approx 2k miles ago and I drive the car at least 3-4 times a month. Last month I took the car out for a spin and once it warmed up to approx 195, the car died while driving down the road. It would not start again until it cooled down for 15 min or so. It was embarrasing pushing it out of traffic. I spent some time reading the threads on this board and determined that my fuel accumulator could be bad. I replaced it and sure enough gas was in the vacuum line. Unfortunately, I still have the problem. Im leaning more towards a fuel pump at this time but I wanted to get some thoughts from the experts out there. Thanks in advance.
