For me, I love the optimism and ispiration it gives me to work harder. Before going into a hard day at school --or something equally challenging-- I tell myself "Im doing it for the Ferrari" and that all my work will eventually pay off. Ferrari gives me a purpose to work hard. What I dont like: To bad the work is going to pay off in 10 more years! Thats a lifetime |

Ditto what Warren said. I couldn't say it any better myself so I won't. |

P.S. I love the way that F-s make Des go nuts. I love the way it has allowed the ladies to take an interest in me and is responsible for my upcoming marriage. Think the woman wants me for my car. Just kidding, still single, WOOO HOOO! |

I love how it makes me feel like a cool person. I don't like how it sometimes makes me feel like a poser or snob. I love the beautiful lines and the realization that I own such a automotive marvel each time I step into my garage. I don't like how I worry about scratches and the slightest blemishes. I love giving friends and family members rides. I don't like how the car has come to define who I am to my friends and family members. Ie. "This is so and so, he owns a ferrari" I love talking about it with people who care. I don't like talking about it with people that want to know how much and how I paid and will continue to pay for it. I love how my insurance is less than the other cars. I don't like all the other money issues that come with it. I love how even when newer models come out, it will still be a f- and will always be desirable. I don't like the fact that there is a model that cost 1,000,000 dollars and that I will probably never drive it. I love how it gives me another thing to do on sunny days. I don't like how it has given a new meaning to rainy days = "I guess I won't be driving the F" I love how it has given me an excuse to join a chat room and get answers to my stupid questions. I don't like how I feel like I have to check the chat room everyday just in case I miss out on some important information and then when I write in later get a response that tells me to search the archive, DOH!! I love the distraction. I should get back to work. |

jimpo1 - the trick is to just pay cash up-front. it hurts like you're passing a kidney stone, but once you've done it there's no more pain :-). of course, then you can fret about the depreciation, but let's not go there..... ;-) doody. |

I love everything about the cars. I hate its conspicuous absence from that extra parking space in my garage |

I love virtually everything about the car. I hate the cost (several high end cars of other makes plus a swimming pool), the gawkers, and the speed with which it seems they wear. (Already have a tiny stone chip, and the seat bolster has a tiny wear mark at 1,800 miles!!) The heartbreaking beauty of the damn thing makes the wear feel like watching a beloved pet age!! |

What I love is knowing it's mine. What I dislove is paying for it. |

What I love is how it makes even commuting to work an anjoyable experience. What I "dislove" about it is knowing that every repair is going to cost more than a "normal" car. |

What i love is the pure passion they evoke in me... How i come alive when i see one or hear one or :::gasp::: get a ride in one...! What's not so cool is that nothing else stirs me like these cars. Absolutely nothing. |

What I love is when pulling into a petrol station and you pull up on the wrong side of the pump (Cause I don't drive it enough and get confused) and some guy comes up to you and holds the fuel pump hose clear of the body while you stretch it to reach on the other side. I thank him and he just says its my pleasure. What I don't like is paying 2,000 for 355 cam belt service including 2 new tensioners and then having to go back the next day as the clutch is slipping to then be charged 1,000 to put in new clutch. Includes bearing which also forms part of the slave cylinder. |
