Well, I just squeezed my hand back there with a variety of socket wrenches... HOWEVER, when I went to re-install, I realized there is an easier way... FIRST, remove the lamps from the tail lights, which gets that huge connector assembly on the back side out of the way. That leaves you soooo much more room to reach those. It definitely helps to have a socket wrench with a couple lengths of extensions. I have a 3", a 4", and a 6". If you don't have a socket extension of any sort, go buy one! or two! If you have further questions, let me know... I did mine just a month or so ago.

I'm embarrassed to tell you guys that i failed installing my rear challenge grill. I bought it, took it home and couldn't figure it out. i looked through the archives and everyone says how easy it is. If anyone has installed their own please help me out...ie: how do you reach the bolts in the far corners? how do you reach the bolts under the tail lamp? I'll feel like such a girl if i take it back to the dealer to have them install it for me. |
