Whoa! Thanks for all the responses! This place is like my "home away from home" if you know what I mean. Ok, so you've pretty much confirmed I can get in, but what about at the top of the hill (scraping of underbody)? People generally FREAK out when they come up this drive the first time. Fred - the 308 clearance is very similiar to the 348 isn't it? Yep that's fall creek (good guess). DES - GOOD ONE! (just kidding) Art - That's a good idea actually - I'll goto Home Depot this weekend. Jens - Thanks for input!

Mister Jones, I live in Indy. I have a 308 though not a 348 I could give it a try for you. It is still a very low car. You can email me at [email protected] BTW is that Fallcreek parkway in the picture. |

Mister Jones, I have a 348 Challenge that is 3 1/2 inches from the ground... I don't think I would have any problems getting up that driveway... so a 348 is definitely a go!! Besides, it looks like you are perpendicular to the road - it's not likely you'll be going straight in and out of that driveway, anyways. Angled entry/exit is key with Ferrari's with fiberglass front lips! Congrats on the house...looking forward to see pictures of your new 348 when you get it! |

Davey: If I had to be, you may have trouble coming straight up that drive way. You'll probably have to approach it from the side to make sure you don't scrape. I had to buy 22 bags of asphalt and used that to make the entry less steep. Home depo has those 22# bags if you need them. Art |

"Miiisteeeer Joooones & Meee... <ahem> Sorry... Dave, welcome to FerrariChat... Aside from having trouble getting the ol' Horsey up the driveway, you're gonna see a bit of difficulty getting anything else up or down it, in the winter time... Just a thought, but i know you already purchased the house... Ok, i'll stop being a downer... Good luck with getting your Ferrari (and getting it up the driveway )... Keep us "posted" (there's that pesky pun, again) and definitely post pictures... Oh, and congratulations on getting a house... Those are cool, too... |

How is the Ferrari going to get up to the garage with a big white van stalled out in the middle of the driveway?

Mr. Jones, I own a 348tb and I can tell you that it should be no problem to do the driveway on your picture. My car was parked in a parking lot of the appartment complex I live in for more than one year and the driveway was definitely steeper than yours. Never scraped my front end there! You may be surprised about ground clearance of the car. Its quite OK for everyday driving! Guess you definitely have a "GO" for the 348 with this driveway Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller |

It looks ok, don't know about the top part, but it's the bottom you have to worry about. Just make sure to come in slow and at an angle. They do have a skid plate underneath. It was made for that purpose, although some don't like to skid their skid plate. Then they put a metal skid plate to protect their skid plate. Yep, it's true. Welcome to FerrariChat.com! |

Ok, so I've lurked here a few months...learned more than I could imagine about my future F-car... and decided this is finally the year I get one! So what do I do? I buy a nice house early last year not even thinking about how ferarri friendly the driveway is. Is there anyone in Indianapolis (preferrably with a 348) that can look at my driveway? The drive is pretty steep but it's the angle of approach and the top part I'm concerned about. Thanks Guys!
