i've ordered directly from ross. they ship (and charge) priority mail. so it's pretty quick. that said, the issue showed up fairly trashed by the USPS (i replaced it later).

they don't have most of the older issues available any longer. there's been talk apparently of reprinting, but it's been talk for years.

doody.

What's the turnaround on Ross Periodicals own Forza back issue orders? I was thinking of getting some 2000-dated issues that I missed, and I think they charge pretty decent prices for their back issues.

So if say I ordered a few from Forza's own back issue order page, how long will it take to process them if I sent payment via snail mail?

I was wondering. When I bought my car the previous owner, John Apen, was kind enough to give me the complete set of Symbols as a gift.

I met Alex at the Continental Literature event. I've purchased several things from him and metting him in person was even more pleasant than my dealings with him on the web. He'll go out of his way to get you something that you request.

well albaco has them listed on their website, and from time to time there are some on ebay, but i've never had the pleasure of reading one.

Does anyone know what a complete set of "Symbol" magazine is worth? Or, has anyone besides myself ever heard of that older Ferrari/Rolls Royce magazine?

I'm in almost the same boat...
just missing the infamous #2 Forza...
and made a goal for myself a few years back to get the Cavallinos from #45 onwards... just missing 2 (70 & 81) and waiting for the most recent to arrive at my auto-book store...

i have a dream of finding Forza #2 at a garage sale somewhere for 25 cents...

I can't find my #2 issue. Does anyone have one that they would sell? (I am sure mine will re-appear once I mail a check.)

Recently, I was fortunate to be able to complete my Forza collection. I was missing Nos 1, 2 and 4. I bought all three via the internet from a nice gentleman in California, for 170. I took me years to find issue no.1, and fortunately he had the other two issues also. Now, if I could find a reasonable price for a No. 1 Cavallino (not a reprint), I would have that collection complete.

Another source is Albaco. They carry back-issues of many car mags, including FORZA. I just completed my collection through them. Prices range from $18 to $115(for issue #1). Talk to Alex (the owner). Not as cheap as FerrariCentral, obviously, but looking at the FerrariCentral site I didn't see much in the way of the 'older' issues. If Alex doesn't have what you're looking for, he'll do his best to locate it and call you back w/pricing.
All my dealings with him have been excellent and most of his FORZA issues are still in their original plastic mailing wrap and have never been opened.

My affiliation w/Albaco is solely limited to my being a satisfied customer.

There are some issues of Forza I'd like to get and read. What's the best source for these?

FerrariCentral has most for 5 UKpounds; older ones for 10. (What's that, about $7.90 and $15.75?)

Thanks.
