The Ferrari Galleria is actually in Maranello, not Modena. I'll be driving over to Italy this weekend and I'm planning on meeting Andreas when we are over there. If the race is anywhere near as exciting as the last 3 we should be in for a treat! |

Bill, There is a nice section at the Ferrari Owners Site ("Grand Tour") which gives some really good pieces of advice about restaurants, hotels and sightseing in Italy. About restaurants in Maranello: Cavallino and especially Montana are a "must see". Hotel "Real Fini" is very good to stay at when in Modena (No personal experience about that though) and has the best restaurant in Modena (One michelin star as far as I remember). Have heard that Lauros restaurant is a famous Ferrari meet in Modena as well. Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller |

Bill, I'm going to the Imola GP myself and spend 10 days around the area. I have put together a pretty detailed plan, if you like I can send you a copy of it with all the places to hit around that area. If nothing else, make sure you visit the F Gallery in Modena, read the Forza mags about it and visit the F/Abarth museum in Rimini. Send me email, if you like details. |
