This is a customer car I modified for track only duty. This photo was at the begining stages of a turbo upgrade. Penske dampers can be seen here, as well as the Fuel Safe fuel cells with the OEM fuel pumps retained. May be some of the detail you're looking for? |

Eric, Try www.ferrarif40.de and click around a bit. There are over 100 photos of the complete restauration of a F40 which was totaled at a german Autobahn. Great series. This guy fullfilled his dream and the whole process only lasted one and a half years to complete. Great, just wished I had the same knowledge about car repair and all the equipment at hand (He owns a Bosch repair shop for cars!) Should be lots of pics of the engine as well! Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller |

Follow the thread about the two F40s that were badly pranged and then restored. One of the sites that detailed the restoration of one of the cars shows pictures of the engine out of the car. Pete |

Anyone know where to find or have any good pics of an F40 engine they can post? Something like the one below, but that one is only a model--I would prefer the real thing. I looked all over the internet, and this is the best I could come up with. If you do have pics of a model engine, if it was on a larger scale I wouldn't really mind that either. Maybe pics of the engine from different angles as it is in the car would be nice also. Perhaps our F40 owners could help? Thanks a lot. Eric
