"Well the world of GGW is wide open at the moment." Do you think anyone would notice if I called it "Girls Gone Crazy"?

>>>Thinking of branching off into some freelance work for film if I can find anyone interested in that. << Well the world of GGW is wide open at the moment. >>Joe has to take responsibility for his actions too. Certainly the girls are at fault, but to say that he isn't sleazy is BS. He is the ultimate sleaze. << Agree..if Joe was packin his Nose and the Noses of underage girls...he is supporting Terrorism by buying the Drugs and breaking laws by supplying minors...He had his fun breakin the law...time to pay the bill!! Actions have consequences..time for Joe to pay the piper for his own choices. |

No band. I produce and write dance music like the stuff you hear in the Mitsubishi commercials. Hence the name "Remix". I have a freakin' awesome job but the music industry is kinda in the doldrums right now. Thinking of branching off into some freelance work for film if I can find anyone interested in that. I've done the Bebe model parties, MAC cosmetics parties, Kenneth Cole, GGW, etc. etc. Remixed some stuff that showed up on Billboard recently, too. REMIX |

There's nothing wrong with a little wild spring break fun. C'mon, you can't compare this business to murder-for-hire or the like. It's not even real porn, more like soft-core party porn. I have a few tapes of my own from my freshman year of the same stuff. |

Joe has to take responsibility for his actions too. Certainly the girls are at fault, but to say that he isn't sleazy is BS. He is the ultimate sleaze. Unfortunately, in today's society anything that is legal is okay. If the Supreme Court overturned the laws against murder you'd find a thousand Joes setting up Murder For Hire franchises throughout the country and guys like you would applaud them for finding a niche that made them rich. Unfortunately we respect riches more than we respect basic human traits like dignity, fair play and respect for others. |

Guys, I have to chime in here. I've met Joe. He is a GREAT GUY. Not a sleaze bucket AT ALL. Granted, I can see where one would have moral convictions over his occupation, but he simple truth is this. He was in college and he figured out, what is the one thing that guys will always want to see. BOOBIES!!! He's made MILLIONS....literally, MILLIONS making silly little films......As far as the underage girls....kind of a stupid thing to do....but I have a daughter and if some guys walk up to her with a camera and say, hey pull up your shirt for us, and say your 18....if she does it, who should I be mad at.....HER!!!! Come on, maybe they shouldn't have asked, but if there was no real coercion there, or no supplying alcohol to minors, if they did it on their own free will.....well, unfortunately the girls have the ultimate blame....I hope my daughter just would have said "go to He##" and walked away.........Sorry if I offend anyone, but Joe is young and rich and he is a nice guy....probably getting a little carried away, but let's all take responsibility for our own actions instead of blaming someone else....the "He told me to" excuse only works for people under 5 years of age. |

when will people "girls" start taking responsiblity for their own actions? When you got drunk in college and banged an ugly fat girl did you sue her the next day because you made a bad decision? No. Of course it wasn't on TV, but still..you did it. |

I've always wondered how people get away w/ producing pornography, and not getting charged with prostitution. I'm pretty stupid, so an obvious answer I'm sure I've missed, but I've never quite understood how it flew under radar. |

I haven't seen the latest inside edition. I did see the 30 minute program on him and his biz, I'm not sure which show though. Unless other news comes out I think he's mostly in the right. Doesn't mean I have to like it all, but so far all the courts have agreed with me. He's been sued dozens of times and never lost, although he has settled a few of them. It's true that there have been some girls that later turned out to be 16 or 17. I think that's rare for the most part. Most are "of age" college girls partying on spring break. It's the girls choice to flash or not to get a free t-shirt. If you saw in the documentary they followed 3 girls from early on in the night until the very end. The three girls sat there in the dorm room doing many rounds of shots before they even left for the GGW party. The entire time they were saying that they weren't going to flash or do anything. Why in the heck were they getting wasted? It was their choice to get wasted and nobody illegally encouraged them to flash or dance together like they ended up doing. |

Since this all comes on the heels of this year's spring break festivities, I'm just disappointed that this all means that there might not be a new batch of late night infomercials for GGW. I'm getting tired of watching the same old ones. (of course I'm too cheap to actually buy the tapes, but maybe I'll run across one in the trash that needs splicing). Have there been outpourings of support from Snoop Dog concerning his buddy's troubles?

Your right about that Arlie.... The car is a 360 Spider -- silver/???. Since the annual sheriffs auction just happened a few weeks ago, we may have to wait until next year to try to buy the car unless they decide they're done with it sooner Of course if they can't make the charges stick, they may have to give the car and the Lear back but I understand they have videotape of the "alleged" acts. |

Panama City is right down from me. I thought that Girls Gone Wild was banned from there. That was just a rumor I heard though. I have not heard about them getting arrested but I would not put it past those guys. I'll look into it. Maybe there will be a cheap car up for sale by auction |

I was watching the Inside Edition program this weekend, and they had further info on the arrest of Joe Francis, the 31 year old founder of the Girls Gone Wild videotape empire. Apparently he and 3 others were arrested in Panama City Beach, Florida for alledgedly enticing underage girls to appear in their videos. Cocaine was supposedly found aboard their jet plane and according to the report, the plane and several other vehicles were confiscated. The video showed the jet aircraft, 2 production vans, and a Ferrari surrounded by yellow police crime scene tape. Don't know my late model Ferraris too well, but probably a 360 or 550. So it looks like they are probably relaxing in the Panama City Beach police impound lot. Anybody in the area who would know more info? Was it really their Ferrari or a rental? When is the auction??? Does the auction price include free videotape samples?
