Ken, Give him a few days to answer. This site is a hobby of his and he's usually pretty busy otherwise. He'll give you a detailed answer and welcome your registration. Barry |

I met Robert and had a beer with him at Ferrari Days at the Nurburgring - he is a gracious, articulate and extremely knowledgeable. Met him via the F-List. He is the source on GTB info, and has a beautiful silver 308 GTB. It's great we have folks like that in the Ferrari fellowship. |

I did go to the GTB Registry and from his list my car looks to be the last US version by chassis #. I've e-mailed him twice but have not received a response yet. If mine is actually is the last US carb. GTB what do you think it does for the value? Thanks for all your help. |

Yes, Ken, the 308 GTB Registry is a helpful site and don't be shy to email Robert Retzlaff with questions. He'll graciously respond. Barry |

I have the chassis number. Where do I go to research the order of the VIN #'s? Also how can I get in contact with the GTB Registry? |

Ken, You can tell by the chasis number. I also have a black '79 GTB built in December '79. I was told by the author of the 308 GTB Registry that there are probably a handful of cars manufactured after mine. |

Sorry for the oversight. It is a US car also. Thanks Steve. |

You'll need to amend that to "last black US version GTB built" (they built Euro GTB/S into the 1980 calendar year). |

I have a 79 308GTB built in December of 79. Since that was the last year of the carb. cars, what's the chance of mine being the last black GTB built. |
