Henryk is correct. I paid $1200.00 for the set for my TR, $1200.00 for the set for my 348 and am waiting for the UPS COD order for a set for my Boxer for $1000.00. Each set has been new, still in the boxes including the cloth storage bags. As posted below, I found each set by running a "Misc. Wanted" ad in the Ferrari Market Letter.

Ross: The luggage set was bought from the Ferrari dealer.....who had it on consignment. I bought it a few years after buying my TR, from the same dealer.

It may fit the 512TR....I don't know. Re: the "testarossa" script.....isn't a 512TR considered a Testarossa? Unless one is going to enter a concourse, I don't feel that one would mind this luggage in a 512TR.

Buying Ferrari luggage for list price is like buying a tire......have you ever bought one that wasn't on sale? Brand new TR sets are NOT selling for the list price!

$ 1000 for the set is a steal.

Henryk, I got the 5 peice set; it is not as common as the 6 peice set. There are even two different factory part numbers for each set.

Ross, the Testarossa luggage will fit in a 512TR, but not perfectly. Also, it is embossed with a "testarossa" script, and the 512TR luggage has "512TR".

Bob, have you ever had any of the fitted luggage for a Ferrari ? I had it for my TR and 348 and have just ordered some for my BB512i. Schedoni luggage really does look, smell and feel great and maximizes the space you have in your car for packing. My wife and I took several trips in both the TR and 348 for a week or more at the time and the luggage gave us room to pack enough clothing including semi-formal dress wear for the trips. Buy some for your 328, you'll love it !

Yes, very interesting article in Rosso. Didn't know, that Schedoni made the first set for a 308. Always thought, that this had a longer tradition. Made me even more proud of my little car and the set of luggage I got for it.

I'm not a big luggage enthusiast but for those of you who have an interest in this subject, there's an article on Schedoni Luggage in the new Spring 2003 ROSSO FERRARI.

Henryk,

We're talking about a set for the BB which is now almost 20 years out of production....

In the "good old days" when the BB was still in production, the set of 2 was already retailing for over $ 1500 here.

As you can see below in Michael's post, a 5-piece set lists for $ 5000 and that is more or less a "current" set and comes out to $ 1000 a piece.

Over $2000 for just 2 pieces of luggage is way too high!!!!!

I bought a "six" piece leather set for my TR.....NEVER used......with all cloth bags, and keys.....for $1200. It is being used now!

Michael: When you say "5 piece" set, is one missing?

Any takers out there?

Lawrence:
I have a brand new 5-piece set in the natural Schedoni color. Still has all the cloth cover bags and keys. Originally listed for almost $5000, but I'll let it go for $1500. E-mail me if you're interested.

fml=ferrari market letter, as in someone hgas posted an ad trying to sell the luggage. as for 308 luggage, i don't think there was seperate luggage for the different models like there was for the testarossa and 512tr (which is embossed). i belive the only 308 luggage that was made was used for the entire 308/328 model series. if i am not mistaken it consisted of three pieces - two hard caes and a bag. i am not bery certain. i can only remember one time seeing 308 luggage for sale and it was when i had my 308. it seemed awfully impractical and very expenisive. i ended up buying coach leather bags instead as they fit far better. the 308 luggage is not leather, it is made of the same fabric that the early owners manual covers were made of.

fml is the best source. prices vary widely depending how many sets are for sale. i have seen them listed from anywhere around $1000 to over $3500, with no distinction as to quality or condition.

I have a friend who's looking for the fitted luggage set for his 86 TR. New or used it doesn't matter. Does anyone have or know where to get a set? Thanks
