I've always been leery of the internet used as a social scene. At times I've thought of it as pathetic and sad that people could consider unseen typists their friends. I don't feel that way anymore. Like Matt LaMotte, I live in an isolated part of the Ferrari world geographically, so this is the community I go to where people UNDERSTAND this obsession -- er, interest. Rob, you've provided the perfect medium to allow the community to flourish, and it has. This is probably the place with the least negativity (know-it-alls, jacka*****) that I know of on the net. (I usually don't even asterisk my profanity! I do it here because everyone else does, out of respect.) There's something about typing, only having your thoughts out there in black and white, that brings out the "black and white" in people, too. They then to either turn into assho*** or show their truest positive colors, as DES does. This site seems to bring out the latter. Thanks, Rob! | ||

Well thanks for the kind words and support. I don't like to hear compliments very much directed at me as I believe it's the people in our community that make it great. You can give me a gram of credit for trying to have an efficient medium and trying to attract quality users. My focus is never in the past and only briefly in the present. My thinking is always a few months and years out where I want the community to go. I'm looking at an improved medium for more efficient communication and also additional elements of our community. The message board is doing well, but I want to improve and add more than just a message board. Thanks everyone, I really enjoy doing this. Much credit to Jennie, I come home and the computer is on my lap in front of the TV until I go to bed. I'm married to FC, but I have one hell of a great mistress. | ||

Everyday I get to work at 9 and from then till 6 I check this site every ten minutes. Then I leave work, drive an hour home, and then when I get home I check a few more times. I'm not sure how to describe the "vibe" here but 99% of the people here are simply great people. Though I'm in a fairly isolated part of the ferrari community I still feel connected to all you guys with these great automobiles. Thanks Rob and everyone else who keeps the addiction going. It's great to be hooked! | ||

All though I have had my �problems with some users on this site, I gotta say; I love this site too. I browse it everyday, several times. ... for such a great site ! I'm an active member of several communities ( due to my job as a producer of events like the Playersun ); they are all great sites, but none has a community and vibe like this one..And Rob is not the worst guy either ;o) Great job, Rob !!! ...had to post my 2 cents since I really enjoy my time at this place...
