I am trying to gather personal experiences with "THE LIST". I would like to have people list their experiences (purchases) with what it takes to be a great customer vs. average. IMO anybody who buys a Ferrari should be classified as a great customer (current and future). |

The list is nothing more than a guide for the dealer. Length and time is related to location AND your standing with the dealer. If you have been a good customer a list does not mean a thing. I have been told by reliable sources that good customer who have not placed their name on a list can get a car on very short notice (read they leap frog over people who are on the list). Deposits are not required for known customers and minimal deposits $1000-5000 are required for new customers again depending on the dealership. If I have one frustration with Ferrari it is with the distribution of their cars. Limited production fosters inequities in the system. I am not sure what the answer is. I know at my Porsche dealership they have a computer printer out showing where on stand on the list for the rumored TT Cab. I am #1 and when they build it I will have the right to order it first regardless of my prior relationship with the dealership and who wants one. Sad to say that is not the case with Ferrari. |

Would all of you list your personal experience of being on a Ferrari Dealership's LIST awaiting a new car delivery? Time on the LIST, deposit required and was the quoted time accurate. Please list what car you were waiting for. |
