I know Matt, and I respect his wisdom and honesty, and I think it's a bit unfair to start flaming without knowing his side. But, I don't want to get in the middle of this.

I do know FOC and have personel experience with them--mostly with parts, been dealing with them almost on a daily basis for over a year (restoring a car)--but they have been incredibly gracious and helpful. I can't speak for the rest of their operations, but from my experience there, I wouldn't hesitate to consider them for any other dealings as well.

I respect Matt's (The Don) opinion, in general. However, I have had very good experience with Ferrari of Orange County. Did a major on my Testarossa. Well done, friendly, class act. Nice inventory. Sales team knows their Ferraris - old and new. Prices are fair. Dealers deserve to make a dime. They inspect and service the cars before sale, and if something bad happens, they generally stand behind it. Look for James Peacock in sales, Alan Woodard service, and Chris in parts (hi Chris - I know your listening).

Wow "the Don",

Almost 4000 posts and at a loss for words, maybe tell us more about what you know, carpal tunnel, how to cut and paste your good buckwheat and Kip icon, or something you know about.

Or just maybe, answer the question.

Martin...that wouldn't happen to be http://www.exoticcarworld.com/index.htm would it?

Sean...it would be great to have you and your dealership as a sponsor, should you decide to go that direction. I always enjoy visiting your website and checking the latest inventory.

Sean,

your comments made me look for our title sponsor in TX. Where are these guys? Out of business?

Even though you are competition (though thousands of miles away :-) )I would not mind having you here as a sponsor.

There is a dying breed of honest car dealers out there. Glad to have one more on this board.

Dear "The Don",

Let's hear your side of things, how are you able to make these claims, I am wide open to be straightened out on the subject. I am sure it would be of great service to all the readers. Unless you really don't have the facts like I suspect.

Before you let "the Don" slam Ferrari of OC, make sure you are listening to someone that has really done business with them. I have and they are for real, they have new owners that give a S""". I can't speak to ancient history, but I would do a deal with them in second. I have no axe to grind, I just don't like to see someone slandered for no reason.

You having one of those 'inspirational moments Frank?

And if it is affiliated with FNA it's still a 'car lot', just a new car lot. And definately some 'car lots', new or used, are better than other 'car lots'.

If its not affiliated with FNA, it is not a "Ferrari dealership" but a used car lot. Only an FNA authorized dealer can sell a new Ferrari in the USA.

HenryK, I wasn't asking which dealers were OK versus not OK...I was asking who has the most reasonable prices. When you look through Autoweek and thier websites, there are many dealers that are very proud of thier cars.

Others such as Steve Harris Imports have prices that don't cause immediate laughter.

I feel that ANY dealer is OK, as long as you buy a car that is on consignment. That way, you only deal with the seller, and not with the dealer. The dealer doesn't care, since he is still making a profit.

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for the compliments. We try hard to offer everyone a reasonable price on a great car.

I do not want it to seem like I am trying to take advantage of this site so I try not to post too much for fear it will seem like I am trying to profit from it. I actually sent Rob an email once sometime ago about becoming a sponsor but wasn't too sure you guys and gals wanted an authorized dealer here. Maybe I should look into that again.

I do enjoy all the posts, differences of opinion, and all the information that is available here. If I can help anyone with reference to Ferrari I am always available.

Rob, my compliments to you for having such a great forum for everyone to share their passion.

WWOC sells more used Ferraris in the USA then anyone. There's likely a good reason. I've delt with them for 32 years.

If it has to be a official dealer I would also see Sean Harris. Had talked to him and was very impressed. Nice guy. He also monitors this site. Hope to see him here at one point. Sean come out of hiding ! :-)

Try Ferrari of Orange County, they are a new Factory authorized dealer and the owners don't play games, they just like cars and do what they say.

Ok...you've decided to purchase your next or first Ferrari from a dealership. The dealership doesn't need to be FNA, just a dealership that regularly has an inventory of our favorite machine. Which dealership consistently seems to have the most reasonable asking prices?
