I just want to take this opportunity to praise Kurt of ferraribooks.com for his good service and proactive gesture.
As some of you may know, I ordered from Kurt a pair of fog light units for my 512TR a few weeks ago. As the lights had to travel from Italy to the US, then to me here in Hong Kong, transit times would be fairly long anyway. On top of the normal transit times, the heightened state of alert and the war mean that more time is required to clear the US customs. So shipments going through the US are tied up even longer than usual.
Although it took a bit over 3 weeks (the US and HK customs probably used a week's worth) to get my lights, I was pleasantly surprised to see a full credit for the shipping on my credit card. Kurt had proactively refunded all the shipping costs to compensate for my waiting time.
Kurt has already given me a helluva price on these lights and the free shipping is just icing on the cake. I did some research locally, in the states, and in Europe before ordering and Kurt's price is one of the best.
So, just want you all to know that Kurt is a great guy to deal with. Although he is sometimes difficult to find as you can see from a post earlier, but things always work out in the end to the customer's satisfaction. So, looking forward to dealing with Kurt again.
Kurt, if you are reading this, maybe you should tell me your mobile phone number or something, so next time when I need some parts urgently, I can find you. |
