Dr Shelbee,

The 550 Barchetta is not a good car to drive up here in the Northwest. It doesn't have a real top. Maybe you should get one for your future summer home where it never rains. :-)

No modern car will ever be like the 250 GTO. The GTO is a race car with a legendary racing history. The 550 Barchetta, as neat as it is, is only a limited edition street car.

Willis,

How about 575M F1 and 550 Barchetta instead to make it "a 24 cylinder man" as Martin said??

Who knows in 40 years from today 550 Barchetta will be like 250 GTO??

Paul,
definately agree with you, I think that is called the 250 GT grill, saw it a couple of weeks ago and thought it made the car look a lot more dramatic.

I like the optional grill on those pics of the 575.
Adds some needed excitement to the front of the car.

Dr. Shelbee,

You don't drive your 2 Ferraris enough. Get rid of the G-wagon and your Ferraris will get regular, proper exercise. :-)

Seriously though, I think you should upgrade to 575M and 360 spider for variety sake.

Marty, Good choice

I myself am thinking of trading my 360 (with only 3500 miles, US, F1 with all the nice options) with 575M F1 and keep my 550.

Have to withdraw from Local Modena Club after all??

Matt: It was bad enough that I had to follow a pair of 360s on Dyno Day, but the first car up was an F50.

We were ALL in the parking lot throwing rocks at our cars.

Looks like a great deal!

Unfortuniately I am not in the market right now plus I am a rag top man.

I would think that you would have no problems selling it.

After you get the 575, let us know what you think comparing the two.

As the Dave saying goes, Make lots of money and have lots of fun,

Bob-No wonder you never pay for lunch.
Hans-dyno-shmino-had the exhaust leak excuse.
Sunny-thanks

Everyone, I too can vouch for how cherry it is in appearance and cleaniness. And its worthwhile to note that Marty's Euro has a more full, slightly louder sound then US stock 360's. Spine tingling delicious, if you ask me.

Love that car! Had one at the Dallas Auto show from Ferrari of Dallas. Very sexy, stunning yet understated and classy. Also had an Enzo and 360GT.

In recent threads regarding acceleration, torque, and comparison of 360's to other F-cars, a 575M would stand the best chance of keeping up with "The Don." Upload

Why change? If your bored, and crave more cylinders, why not?
