Frank, >>I wanted something I could remove for judging to keep the car as stock and original as possible It's my understanding that upgrades made to further insure saftey of vehicle and occupants (including: alarm systems, fire suppression, upgrading seat belts, etc.) as long as they are done tastefully (or was that subtely) are NOT point deductions in judging concours. Some I've seen (fire supression systems) are not (easily) removable for show, and I would really prefer everything in my F car cabin be secured in some way. Someone with more authority please clarify. Just FYI -Ben |

having an extinguisher behind you in an accident is not the most optimal place for it. the passenger compartment, front of seat is much more likely to be easily reachable when you need to get to it. if you just want an extinguisher for the heck of it - go crazy. but if you want it for the track or you're dead seriously concerned about fires, there are, imo, better locations for it. my two pennies. doody. |

Frank: I would like to get the removable center console in a tan color for my 360,when do you think we coud have availability and price? By the way I have the factory fire extinguisher in the car placed on the floor of the passenger side and definetly your idea of placing it with brackets on the side behind the drivers seat is much better and practical. Thanks. |

Frank- this looks VERY cool, but re what the others said, it needs to be stronger (extinguishers can be very deadly if not secured.) How about Kevlar/Aramid fibers woven between two sheets of leather and grometed and then bolted to the chassis? I'd certinly pay more like $200 for one that met those specs (even better if it was crash-tested in a Metro or something. Run an in-car high-speed camera, and post the video on your site for any doubters.) Best! Ben.

Frank, How about a leather money clip with the Ferrari horse on it. My dad has a nice one (not Ferrari) that has a small sleeve, like would be in your wallet, to hold credit cards, ID, etc., and a clip to hold cash. |

frank, have you designed anything for turning the middle part of a 456m into a jump seat for a (small) third child? i ask because i have been thinking about doing that (when i finally actually buy the 456), so that my wife can't say that we can't haul all the kids around. i spoke to a specialist around here who said he could do it, but if you had some kind of kit already designed i would go that route. the other part needed of course would be some kind of lap belt that could be fixed to the existing passsenger belt attachment points. |

frank - have you considered making replacement leather key fob covers? the lighter colors show wear quickly. just a thought if you're futzing with leather already. doody. |

Velcro will never hold it in a high speed accident. I would hard mount it and screw the concourse judges. That thing could kill you when it goes flying. |

Nice but you need a metal mount & bracket to make it pass FCA tech inspection for track use |

FYI - The other things I'm working on are wheel center caps. The stock ones seem to fad quickly. I made some with a slightly stronger yellow that give the wheels a "pop" and enclosed them in clear resign. For the non-purist a made some in matching car colors (red with chrome horse), etc. Also - Made a removable center consol. Got the idea from the P-Car. Snaps in and you have arm rest and storage.... More on that latter....Just wondering if I should add something like this because I already have the leather for the consols...ya know? |

Yes Doody... Sleeve ... I made another version that allows more of the neck to show & you could place a Ferrari decal on it. I can't put the decal on because of possible copyright issues, but you can.. |

At a recent car show I saw new 360 with a factory fire extinguisher in a matching leather case. I was told the dealer wants an arm and a leg for them ($1200?) I decided to make my own. Being a purist, I wanted something I could remove for judging to keep the car as stock and original as possibleheres a picture.
What do you guys think? The reason I ask is that I retired at an early age and wanted to stay busyStarted to get many ideas for my car and ended up renting a small warehouse. So far have two items that will be in production soon. Depending on your reaction, I may start putting these into production. All leather for about $75. Will hold with Velcro, original mounting bracket or Mike Charness bracket. THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT. More of a pre-production market survey. With respect to Rob, when my other things go into production I will become a sponsor and if there is enough interest Ill add this to my product line. So tell me what you think.or what you would like to see different.this is only a prototype . Thanks all FL
