Sam, The door speakers really aren't that critical. I used speakers I got at Radio Shack which are 5 1/4" normal depth and have a 2 1/2" magnet about 1/2" thick. They are great quality and great sound. It is true the orig. speakers are shallow and don't have much going for them but you do have some room, depth, to play with but not unlimited.

Mike: Ask your friendly local Ferrari dealer for a referral. They don't do radios and they probably don't do tires, either. Ask what shop they take their cars to. Ferrari of San Francisco was more than happy to tell me where they send out for services they can't or prefer not to do.

Mike,

TIres, I don't know where you are but I took my tires to STS they are a chain here in Norht east, any tire shop will do but if you have OEM mag wheels be very sure they are carful, also buy/bring your own bolt in valve stems otherwise you will get rubber push in type.

Amp. I bolted my amp to the rear trunk and it fires speakers sitting up on teh little ledge near teh seatbelt shoulder anchors, right by my ears, works great, I am thinking of hooking in / replacing the OEM door speakers, I hear they are 5 1/4 " but kinda shallow , heard infinity speakers fit , don't get anything with large magnet.

I want to install a stereo amp in my 1985 308. I am curious as to what types of shops have you guys(gals) used. I am not going to trust some guy at Best Buy!!!Also, I just purchased my new tires and do not want to wait for the dealership to fit me in. Who do you all suggest?
Thanks
Mike
