I had a friend drive my to Atlanta. Then I drove it back to Birmingham with her following me, (just in case something went wrong). Nothing did, and the trip was 150+ miles of pure joy! |

2 blocks to my house from the car transporter, and it barely made that. Next day, after 10 minutes of trying to start it, hobbled it down to emissions station where it "failed big time". 5 weeks and $15k later I drove it 5 miles from shop to home. 2 months later took raod trip from Colorado to Vegas. |

Ken, When I bought my 348 it had 79K on it already, I figured what's another 800 miles the car has come this far already. No problems all the way home, though I did keep a watchful eye on oil pressure and temps and checked the oil level a few times. |

After they unloaded it from the transporter, I drove it 150 ft into the garage where it stayed for a week unil I checked it out completely & changed fluids. THEN, I drove it a few hundred miles... |

Since i now have Scuderia badges on my car, does it count as a Ferrari...? If so, it gets 1,000 miles a week... Tomorrow night will be 8 weeks i've had it and i have exactly 7,999 miles on it... Replaced the passenger's side mirror this weekend; cleaned out the interior; took it to the car wash... Last week, had Pep Boys do the brakes, replaced the shifter & shifter boot, got an oil change... All this stuff costs money, which is why i have a job... i just need more time... More time, to drive... |

I bought my 512TR for my 35th Bday so I celebrated by driving from Shelton up to Cavallino & I did the tour of Palm Beach, I didnt do Moroso then cus I didnt feel comfortable in a car so new to me. After Cavallino I went home to Buenos Aires, then when I flew back to the US I picked her up at Shelton again and I drove 2 days to Connecticut |

You guys with the big "drive it home" miles: weren't you afraid of taking an unknown, used Ferrari so far without changing fluids, belts, etc? I drove my unrestored Europa about 35 miles home on a hot, hot day and was very lucky to make it; if I had it to do over I would have had it transported. |

The day I bought it about 2 miles to check it out. Then it went into a trailer for transport. On the day I got it from the trailer about another two miles. I guess I'm a slow starter... |

The first day I got my 348, I think the trip back home was like 600 miles. My brother flew with me to get the car, so I had to take him to the airport to get his car. So I think it was like 700 to 750 miles total, that I put on the car the very first day. |

over 4000 miles the first month. ahhhh picked her up at 7:12pm on a beautiful Thursday evening, the day before my birthday. The transporter was unable to deliver to my door due to weight restrictions, so I had to chase him down via cell phone until he found a spot to unload. I still remember the moment she was reversing back onto the lift from inside the enclosed trailer. |

None. I trailered my 308 home through a huge thunderstorm! I was just happy to get home! 70 miles the next day, though. |

Picked up the 360 at the factory and drove Maranello to Chambery (French Alps) that afternoon, to Paris next day, and home to London the 3rd day - almost 1,000 miles and a fantastic way to get familiar with my new car... I haven't been able to keep away from driving it regularly in the three years since - with a few more trips through Europe thrown in. |

Ben, its not that I dont want to drive more....its more that I haven't been able to given the fact that I am busy most of the time, and when I am free the weather has been so incredibly poor this winter we had in the NE. (I just picked her up in december....Christmas eve in fact) The fact I live in higher elevations doesn't help either...hell we had snow last monday. WTF! ITS APRIL!!! As you can probably figure out...I hate the weather now. Feel lucky that you guys are in sunny Cal! Wait until the summer...then we will talk about miles |

400 miles Fresno to Vegas, I kept staring at the Yellow Cavallino on the steering wheel and couldn't believe I actually had a Ferrari and I had to stop a few times off the freeway on a desert road to stand back 30ft and just look at it |

I bought my 308 from a guy who had just transfered to NYC from NC. After nine months in a parking garage (small mortgage payment in itself) he concluded he would most likely never drive the car again. I test drove it down Park ave from 91st street, struck a deal and then two days later drove it 40 miles home. It took a week to finish all the routine checks, fluid changes, clutch cable replacement, and detailing before I started to really drive it. When I had told him that I would take the car, he said he'd have the guys in the parking garage wash and wax the car for me. As nicely as I could, I told him to make sure they never touched it again - I would enjoy cleaning it myself. |

Drove it home from Atlanta to Birmingham (150+ miles) and the water pump blew as I pulled in my driveway. It sat there a week. I waited 16 years and the damn thing sat still in my driveway for a whole solid week. |

I don't have one myself yet, but the first day I borrowed my friends' 348ts I couldn't stay indoors for longer than half and hour. Every minute I could cruise on the road I did so. |
