Thats different. Doesnt the fact that it is a rental raise the value?? I heard alot about people renting those cars for the weekend, drag racing them, winning, then returning them on monday.

The only rental car I have bought is an ex Hertz Shelby GT350H. Now, I had no qualms about buying that one !

I talked to my local Ferrari dealer, of many years, and he stated that they have sold a Ferrari to a woman only one time. And after 6 months she brought it back and traded it on a Porsche.

She got tired of having wierd guys following her home!!!!!!!!!

True story!

If they put forth what's represented to be the "complete service history" of the car they better include it.

When this car eventually hits ebay, I sure hope they disclose the fact that the engine/tranny were rebuilt.
:-)

Can you imagine buying a used 360 which was a former rental vehicle???? But hey, Avis has all the oil change records, right?

Shifting by sound! You know, I am afraid of my first gear ('90 TR) because at about 4000 RPM it sounds like I am over stressing the engine. However, on other gears, at 4000 RPM the sound level seems to be much lower. What is that? Is the transmission also complaining when RPMs get higher on my first gear? Shifting to second is a little slow, hence I constantly double clutch to make it smoother.
What are your shifts patterns (RPM-wise) for your cars?
Any other TR owners with similar experiences?

At 8500 RPM the car would be going about 75 MPH in second gear.

How many mph is redline in 2nd for a 360? I bet she would of been ok if she heal toed.

When I first got my car I would shift by sound until I realised that was only about 3,000 RPM. It's amazing that the Ferrari sounds like that at 3-4k and still is only half way there.
