If he sells his car, which he can sell to a Ferrari dealer for $140K to me for $120K and only deals with me when he receives $12,000 deposit I can already imagine that his brother is the oil minister from Nigeria and his Cousin has an estate of $24 Million which he needs to transfer from Iraq and needs my help on that as well.

SURE!!!!!!

Martin, don't fall for that one. That is what Exotic Car Wholesale does and you'll never get your deposit back but you already know that... Anyone asking for deposit of such amount usually are crooks, not saying all but most are. Transactions of deposit should be made by credit card and not wiring money as once you do it's gone

I tried to contact the guy and he does not respond. So I guess that was a flukes.

There is also a 360 with some 500 Miles on yahoo. Contacted that guy as well and he sends me an e-mail that I have to send him a 10% deposit before he wants to meet me. Sure....
I know I can get a great deal! It is a 500 Miles 360 US car for $120K.

Maybe this is one of Udai Hussein's many exotic cars...

"Slight damage from JDAM bomb but easily repairable. Must pick up in Baghdad."

Ernie,
I heard of a similar story involving a 355 once. Guy was getting a divorce from his wife and court had ordered that proceeds from divorce sale be divided in half. Husband had a 355 that he sold for what he owed on it (like $50K) so no profit meant less money he had to split with his wife. True or not?

I kinda figured it was a Euro. I bet it is a salvaged Euro. I wasn't planning on buying it. It just seemed way underpriced for a 355. If it turned out to be legit, it would have made an awesome buy. It could have been a revenge sale. I heard about this guy that got a divorce from his wife. Left to Hawaii with the chick he was cheating with. Ran out of money and called his ex. Asked her to sell his brand new Porsche and send him the money. So she did. FOR $50!!!!

will not run as a carfax since it is a EURO.
If you buy it make sure to have the DOT papers.

it's a euro, the "b" after the 1 means it's a euro, no biggie but it might help.

Ernie:

What kind of title? If salvage, probably priced a little low, but not too low. Otherwise a big problem. Call the guy and find out. Have you driven a 355? Don't if you don't plan on buying one.

Ernie,
I saw the same thing yesterday. Even a very rough early model with no service history would command more than that I would think. If it is legit, I would think there has to be a pretty long story to go along with it.

Ok fellas,

I was surfing around Yahoo and came across a 355 for sale by "owner" in Florida. The asking price is $45,000 obo !!?. This sounds fishy. The vin number is ZFFPA41B00010313. There is just something screwy about it????
