Maybe a gun rack in the back window would help balance the look. DJ |

Forbidden Planet it is. The tube grill looks like something off of a Daryl Starbird creation. DJ |

The second pic of grill don't look as bad as the first one. The edge of the billet one needs a frame and It's hard to get used to a grill on a sports car when you usually see them on trucks, it's bad enough when I started to see them on imports too. |

actually I have a similair grille on my 308QV cus I Hated the big ugly US bumper. The US bumper weighs nearly 40 #. WHen you remove it you have to redo the front shocks or the front goes up several inches. Downside is you no longer have a bumper so better not hit anything |

Ron, Jeff didn't "dig that up" - that's his next door neighbor posing atop his living room coffee table at their poker game last week... |

Looks like a 60's era Darryl Starbird custom car. all it needs are some flip out hide-away headlights under those grills. maybe a heart shaped bubble window in the back. |

I don't care for the grill. I have seen a lot of pickup trucks with that style grill. Can't imagine why anyone would want that on a Ferrari. On Randall's ebay reference to the 308 convertible, I like how the owner says: "This is a very unique 308 GTSi. It has been converted to a Spyder and it looks just great." I guess he converted the spider to a spyder. |

I think that grile would look great on a track car. I like the small Euro bumper for any 308. |

Omar, if my memory serves me right this grill design is one of the 308 styling options that were considered in the begining of the car. |

A 308 convertible? Dunno if I like the looks, but I'll bet it makes it easier to work on. |

Are you sure the first one hasn't crashed into a metal fence and taken some of it with him? Terrible! |

A little off the topic, but what did you all think of this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2410233795&category=6212 I don't like it at all. |

Its hideous in my opinion! How could anyone do such a thing? It even looks cheesy and cheaply done...not professional at all. I noticed both on ebay also but didnt want to start anything...might cause a flame Although I hope most people find it unattractive too. |

Werid thing is, I never seen it before, but there are 2 (!) cars on ebay with that type front end. My question, why not just get a 328 style front end? It shouldn't prove much harder. |
