I'm pretty sure instilation of any stereo in an F50(even the fine gear McIntosh produces) will land you 20 years hard time, at least in Italy.

But I'll reserve judgement untill I too own an F50 and decide wether or not to 'disgrace' it with speakers ;D)

Best!
Ben.

I am in love with the re-paint F-50 of FOD-California Blue, there is something about that color (come on lottery!)-I drive by everyday!

if it IS Mr. Frame's Cavallino had a nice photo spread of it in #93
http://www.dacorsa.net/cms/index.php?id=440

while yellow isnt my favourite colour on this model the car looked wonderful in the shots... i am always impressed with Cavallino's photos.. they seem to really take their time to compose the shot... attention to background... etc..

Well, things do happen, and I wouldn't trust anyone more than FoH/FoD for the best quality work.

>>Pranged?<<

Well the first "prang" (or as frank would call it, lucky break and a neato chance to get body & paint work done) was as the car was being delivered to FoH, it was improperly tied down on the truck, rocked back and forth the 1300 miles from NJ, smashing both the front and rear of it and the cars fore & aft ...at which time the FoH crew Steve Egghed & buds, did a marathon repair and repaint of the damaged panels because the cars unvieling at Tezas World Speedway was the following day...story goes they were still working on it on the truck on the way to TWS. So from day one.." happens"

There's a lot more that you don't know than you think Will. I thought our talk awhile back would have enlightened you to that fact.

It's been pranged more than a few times...people talk.

carfax won't register any damage as any damage that may have occurred wouldn't have been handled by an insurance agency or body shop. the mileage is true as it is a well known and documented car. i have never heard of any mishaps or accidents the car has had and if they did occur, it would have had to have been pretty minor.

paul was known to drive the car quite a bit and not baby it, but wouldn't say that he was known to abuse it. i remember when this car was parked beside a red f50 overnight with no protection in the colloge station parking lot, a common occurance when the car went to texas world speedway for exercise.

I thought it was a crime to put a stereo in an f-50.

the pics are taken at ferrari of houston. foh didn't have a fit that the pics showing the license plate were posted, but rather the pics were posted showing another website's name at the bottom, as though that website was representing the seller. as far as i am aware, the f50 is owned bu foh and is not on consignment from paul frame.

Great car, Ive seen it a few times in person when I was living in Houston. However is it me or does the auction seem fishy? I thought the car was at FoH and the seller seems to have some relation to Mr. Frame and not the dealer. Apart from that, if the car is at FoH, didnt they have a stink about showing liscene plates in their photos? The car still is at FoH according to their website and not in private possession.
