Last night at the karting event I explained how I got this through Jennie, because that was the #1 question last night.

1) Curvacom LLC needs additional expenses so we minimize the tax bill this year. The car is under my business and is separate from our personal finances.

2) Honey, if we get the Challenge car, I promise I won't build my workshop yet and we can build your house first.

3) Our investments will return more than the good interest rate we got on this deal.

4) If I get laid off this year, all of these toys are "liquid" and we have equity in them, so we'll get our equity back plus eliminate the monthly payments.

5) The race car will improve the overall FerrariChat.com community.

6) It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to get Steve Earle's race car!

7) When have I ever made a bad decision Jennie?

8) The hot race car will attract more "Pit Bunnies"... oh wait, I didn't tell her that one.

To be honest, there's no good reason Jennie puts up with me. She's a conservative simple Kansas farm girl and I'm a "A" type risk taking conquer the world SOB. I guess opposites attract. I take risks, but everything has always worked out for me in the long run, I think she has started trusting me after witnessing it a few times. It will be funny maybe on the 20th time and I fail, she'll be like "I told you so!".

Rob, congrats on your new baby! Yeah, Tony is a great, great guy, and a great asset to Mr. Risi's organization. Heck, IMO, FoH would not be where it is today had it not been for Tony.

Now, if you'd like me to 'splain all of this new paperwork to your lovely spousal unit,.....

:-)

I just wanted to take a minute to thank Ferrari of Dallas and Tony.

From my initial call to inquire about available 355 Challenge cars to my first visit to see the car to last night when I signed the paperwork everything has worked out perfect. Now I know what it's like to get the full treatment from a quality Ferrari dealer like FoD. Tony answered all my questions (I'm a little detailed oriented) and made all the paperwork a seamless process. I'm sure they're willing to go above and beyond for every customer, but some of the things I didn't expect were their volunteering to remove all the graphics I didn't want and giving a lead to a great deal on a trailer.

I really appreciate it and also thanks to the other Ferrari of Dallas team James and Danny. I'm sure I'll be thanking the service team too as I get some basic maintenance questions answered.

Besides all the high dollar stuff, they have a nice Mondial and 355 in there right now.

I know several on FerrariChat.com have bought cars from FoD or FoH before.
