yeah.. Nika asked for some info so as to make a page for me on her site... very nice of her i must say... i have yet to get into prints... trying to sell some originals to bankroll that venture, but admittedly i dont let originals go that cheaply... they are timeconsumming things to produce... looking into giclees (print-quality computer outputs) - a "make-a-print-as-you-sell-them" scenario as opposed to the 2-3000 dollar outlay for a printrun of 500 and hoping to sell enough... am in the middle of a P3 right now - 85% there - the same car i asked for info about a while back... (DES did you see those extra shots you requested i posted on that thread... i'll try to move them to the Showroom area... that might be a more suitable spot for them.... when i'm finished would people like to see the finished result? Grant was lucky enough to do an interview with Nika on her website about his fabulous work and prices and so forth... There's a lot of information in there... He's an extremely talented artist - i've never seen anything like the stuff he's done... |

thanx for the kind comments... i basically referred to the rollbar-assemblies and rear glass of a 360 spider and the rest is stock Enzo... i agree about the doors... opening outwards would have to be the way to go... all in all a magor reno to say the least... thanx again... GT ps i'm no engineer but it always amazes me how all that top assembly folds back behind the seats of a 360... what with that V8 mere inches behind your head... a mechanical miracle if you ask me.... but i suppose that golfbag-rear ledge is what had to be sacrificed but still.... |

Unfortunately I can't draw, but what IMHO is missing on the Enzo is a rear wing. Call me a wing fetishist (you'd be right!), but it is too empty back there. I realize an Enzo doesn't need a wing as it has all the aerodynamics built into its under tray, but optically I'm missing it. Kinda like the old Countach was: It was even slower with a wing, but looked so much better and complete. An Enzo to me looks like a F1, that has been hit from behind and lost its rear wing. |

GThomas, I'd have to say that the drawing looks realisic of what would become of the next Enzo. I like the looks of that over the coupe but not sure about the doors going up since there is not top to go up sideways, it'll either go straight up or open normal. |

Arlie - nice job...! My only problem is that the back is too flat and is vaguely reminiscent of the new 'Vettes... If you could add some of those bumpy things behind the seats, like on the 360 spider, that might add some flavor... |

Well, it does have gull-wing style doors. Just take the doors off and you'll pretty much have the same effect!! :-) |

Ugggg...why? JUST WAIT Ferrari's game plan has always been: 1) Produce the TB car first 2) THEN release the topless version later |

Interesting idea. There would be all kinds of issues with body flex of course, but if you're spending over a half mil for a car, you might as well get it the way you want. |

I was wondering about this as well - it seems that most of the supercars these days have a roadster variant, even Pagani has stepped forth with one. I think the F50 did it right, and it looked proper in both forms. While I'm sure it goes right against that whole weight savings train of thought, it might be a more popular option. Then again - not like they need it to appeal to anyone. Ferrari can dictate who gets one, who doesn't, and what they'll pay. --Dan |

"Cut the roof off... Why, is that a problem...?" Any chance they'll make a roadster version of the Enzo...? Damn, i think that would look cool... Just wondering... |
