David, Sounds like a good reason... Only, I always found the size of my head to vary from day to day (or is just that I sometimes like it more loose and when driving a ragtop I want it as tight as can be?). I am constantly adjusting those things... Hahahahaha... ok, ok, it is getting late over here... I should go to bed... ;-) Jack |

Jack, The reason is that it looks nicer from the back. But I agree, you'll never find them, as it is too much hassle to stock all the needed sizes and colors. Best to find a nice red fitted cap and have a SF patch sewn on. |

Matt, just out of curiousity and to understand it better... What makes it so important to you that the cap is fitted? Jack |

Just buy one good hat, and then attach all your favorite logos to the same hat with Velcro when you need them. Ferrari logo for Ferrari events, Cubs logo for World Series games (!!!), Jalapeno Pepper logo for chili cookoff contests, etc.

Could be a pretty good sized market for some though when you think about it. Somebody could probably make a pretty good amount of money off it. Fila is the only one that can make the official one though I think. Just an idea to help me get that 360 Modena |

I guess it is simply a matter of economics. If they make them fixed, they have to go for 2 or 3 sizes with all the consequences for production, stock levels etc. Make them "One size fits all" and you only need one "model" to serve the whole market. Jack |

All of them? That's weird you can't find these fitted anywhere. Guess I'll have to go adjustable. Thanks anyway guys |

So there isn't anywhere where I can get this one that doesn't have the adjustable strap? |

Matt, there are only two "fixed" Ferrari hats that are officially licensed and those are the Fila caps. All the other caps have buckle / Velco adjustment straps. We only have a couple left at www.ScuderiaMerchandise.com http://www.scuderiamerchandise.com/index.html?target=dept_3.html&lang=en-us Best regards, Jack
